I can see this sketch working for about a bazillion cards. That Deanna is a genius. Someone give me an 'amen' on that! Be sure to pop over there and see all the DT's cards, as well as those in the gallery. Well worth the trip. And this is mine:
Now, I made this for my daughter-in-law's birthday, but I could us some honest opinions. Is this too masculine for a female? The family birthday frenzy season has started, so it wouldn't go to waste...
The dp is from Bella Blvd., the white card base is Bazzill, scraps of white, orange and brown, a smidge of The Twinery's brown twine, stickers from Pebbles, SU ink, and HA stamps. Happy dances everyone!

How super cute is this? I love that tree and I think it is perfect for a female. I'd like to get it! ;)
Great to have you back and feeling better, Bev, hope those M's are being kept at bay by your inspired, pingy self!
Love love love all these wonderful circle images, those cute trees and the twine wrapping ... in my world it works beautifully! Oh, and IMHO it's perfect for either female or male!
Anita :)
Okay, so if your dear DIL's chin hits the floor as hard as mine did, she may need medical/dental attenion!
This is freakin' absolutely gorgeous! Funky and fun, with a hint of retro (something about the tree). Absolutely perfectly balanced. WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW!!!
Seriously, this card has just rocketed up to #1 on my "Cards Made By Bev That I Love and Will Copy Someday" list!
Bev, this is just perfect and so beautiful and I would be honored to receive such a stunning hand made card on my birthday. Love it!
I love that tree and the colors you used. Your DIL will love it.
Sorry to hear you had another cluster of ummdmdmmds. (I won't say the bastardly name either.)
Your card is fantastic, Bevie. I think it will go for either guy or gal and she will love it.
When I CASE it someday, I think I would like it even better without the twine bow. It seems to overshadow that amazing tree and adorable sun. IMHO, but you know I love uber CAS so that's just me.
Oh, and yes, AMEN about Deanna!! Take care!
What a beaut. That tree just pops off the page and I love the pale color you've chosen for it.
