Yeah, with the snow falling like mad outside, it was a good day for spending lots of time in the craft room. I found another new-to-me challenge over at
Lucy's Cards. I first saw it while looking at
Kim's cards. I fell in love with the one she made, and so I thought I'd check out the challenge. Oh. My. Gosh. The sketch is lovely. And while I am more of a CAS card maker, I wanted to play this one. I had a
hoard small stash of pretty paper that I was saving, and thought it would be perfect for her sketch.
And what the heck! Since it has my favorite polka dots, and the hearts and sentiment is from Paper Smooches, I'm going to play the
Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge (again)!
All papers are SU, except the vellum. I cut leaves with an MFT die using vellum and made a flower, and used an MME brad for it's center. The seam binding ribbon and the ink are also from SU. As mentioned before the sentiment and hearts are from Paper Smooches. So that's it for now. Happy dances.

Let it snow, let it snow, let is snow...because we get to enjoy the beautiful cards that you are creating! This paper is divine. Gingham and polka dots....ah, life just doesn't get any better than this. The elements are all so perfectly 'connected' - love it! You have reminded me how good the label die looks (must dig mine out of hiding).
This is a sweet card! I love the vellum flower and the way that the sentiment is on a diagonal!
You love blue too! Every little detail here is lovely Bev ... the vellum flower is particularly splendid, specially with the brad ... almost mother-of-pearl-y! Anita :)
a lovely card, love the flower
Love the colors... so cool and pretty.
Thanks for entering my challenge.
