While I love that little eyeglass stamp, and the glitter applied to my other card for the
Muse challenge, I really wanted to try something similar, yet different. The colors and straight lines still spoke to me, and so those are what I went with again. As per my resolution for the year, I am still trying most earnestly to scrap my stash. Some of my friends probably won't believe that I haven't purchased anything new (ok, ok, not more than a stamp set or two...) to use in my paper crafting endeavors.
Once again, this is the inspiration card made by the very clever and very talented Therese Calvird:
Be sure to pop over to Muse and see the cards inspired by Therese, and while you're there, play along!
This one is for my sister's birthday. My favorite part is the fabric covered brad (from Kaisercraft). Doodlebug purple dp, unknown lime, SU white, PTI sentiment, and Colorbox purple ink. That's it. Happy Valentine's Day everyone.

Gorgeous, vibrant colours and great take on the Muse card!
This is wonderful, Bev, and I also like your first entry very much. (I need to get busy on making just ONE!) I am drooling over that awesome button!!
Fantastic! This card has such a WOW factor and that brad is awesome, I agree.
Thanks so much for taking the time to share with us at Muse this week!
The fabric brad really does make this card WOW! Of course, I adore this color combo and better yet that you used your scrap stash! Definitely a fitting tribute to Therese's stunning card :)
Beautiful! I love the centered banner and that design paper was a brilliant choice! Subtle but pretty. :)

The the layering with the banner. Great card.
Love how you made that fabric covered brad the focal point of your design. So pretty!
Love your card - it's simple but very effective. The brad definitely is a great focal point.
