A Reminder and Two Cards

I wanted to pop in today, quick like a bunny, and give you a little reminder that the Twofer Challenge comes 'round again on the 10th. Be sure to stop over at the Twofer blog and plan to play along!!

I got my 'girl' on when making these cards. Couldn't seem to help myself... This first card will go and play along at the Sunday Stamps Challenge, and at Inspired By...  I saw pink stripes, which delighted my sensibilities.

That's an MFT Wonky Frame die, and a MB Stitched Frame in the center of the panel. I used an AE striped stamp to make those ombre-ish pink stripes behind the RC glitter heart. And a MB sentiment finishes off this fairly CAS card.

Next card heads off to Papertrey Ink's 11th Anniversary party, and before it closes, SSS Wednesday Challenge. I used Heather Nichol's sketch for my card.

The "banerilla" (as our Jessica used to say when she was a bit of a thing...) and the sentiment are both from PTI, and she's been colored with Copics. The balloon and the stars are from SSS. A scrap of yellow polka dot patterned paper down the left side and a few sequins finish this off. I have a granddaughter in mind for this card later this year... I've got to run for now, but I hope you're having a wonderful week. After chores, I hope to get to some commenting.... DH has kept me hopping as of late....

Bev, it's the stitched frame that ties your card to that photo in my eyes - a fabulous card, ombre-ish stripes are too cute! Thanks for joining us this week at Inspired By...

Awww. First off, those inspiration photos with the stripes are delicious aren't they? And so is your first card. Love the touch of gold. And the little ballerina is just plain sweet. Party time at PTI, eh? Better check it out... Weird now that Nichole is gone don't you think?

You sure did get your "girl" on with making these cards Bev! They are fabulous!!! I love girly cards, to many boys I guess, so the girl stuff is always right up my alley. The heart card with the stripes-oh my! Looks like your heart is cork, and if it is that is genius! But it is the stripes that I love so much oh and those stitched frames. They are the bomb! Your little "banerilla" (so cute!) is totally and utterly adorable! I love the pastel colors of this one and those stars just make this card so magical feeling. Well done my friend! Hugs, Brenda

Bev both of these are so pretty. I love the ombre stripes behind the heart, perfectly inspired by the challenges! The ballerina girl is one that I never got but always thought was so sweet. Thanks for dropping by my blog, I am doing much better but the the healing has been slow and too many setbacks because I keep overdoing it! Hope the YKW's are staying away!

Those ombre'stripes are so sweet peeking through the stitched layers, Bev, and your coloring on the little ballerina is wonderful. The balloon and stars are so festive.

Two sweet and CASlicious cards, Bevie, and there's a whole bevy (you see what I did there?) of challenges that they are perfect for! It's so good to see you getting a chance to make fun cards and play! I really love how you combined the stitches on your striped delight and the banerilla is a little girl's dream card!!
