Hop to Stop 2

Good morning. Popping in quick in support of Becca's Hop to Stop. This amazing woman, and oh yes she is, has organized this hop to raise awareness about Domestic Violence. You can read more about it at Becca's blog, or here at my post yesterday. My threat still holds, by the way.  If I don't see a card made by you, and posted in the hop, I most definitely will be packing my suitcase, coming to your house, taking over the MASTER bedroom, overstaying my welcome, gluing the remote to my hand, sitting at your craft desk and using all YOUR supplies, requiring more than the usual amounts of coffee and chocolate, staying up late and getting up early. Oh, and if you have children, I will spoil them shamelessly, I am a grandma after all... Now, the "threat" might be in full jest, but the cause is for real. And it's absolutely serious. I pray for those of you who are or have been abused. And I pray that you are seeking or have sought help. Here is the toll free number for the National Hotline:

800.799.7233

This DV problem doesn't only concern those who are being abused...it affects us all. Becca has made it possible for us in the cardmaking world to step up and help in this big/small way. Won't you join me in this hop?

Be sure to head over with your pretty purple project!!

Michaels white base, NBUS WPlus9 stamp colored with Copics just a bit. PPP die, scraps of purple and yellow. PTI stamp SU ink. Three purple sequins. EZPZ lemon squeezy! Now it's your turn. Pretty please. Happy dances everyone.

Why hello! :) Your design seems so chipper, Bev. Especially with all those extra little sparkly bits to grace the edges. Love it! You're the best supporter a girl could ask for. Now quit giving me compliments so I can stop blushing!

Haha, I have already linked up to the hop yesterday and have one for tomorrow so it's all good - no threats needed! You're too funny! It's a very worthwhile cause and one very dear to my heart. Your card is lovely and wonderfully CAS!

Well I better get hopping cause its a bit far to come to my place. Love how you did this card and used that flower head to perfection. I ŵould never have thought to do that and yet its perfection in itself.

...hmmm....so that means that if I DON'T make a card, you will come stay at my house! Done Deal pal. See you soon!

Oh...I wish....

I love your post! Made me laugh out loud! Love your card too - specially the layered mats and the blings! Which "hello" is that? Going to roll over to my desk now and start my purple card!

Another fabulous card, my sweet friend; the 'hello' is wonderfully eye-catching. I'm rather liking your threat...Since I don't have kids, could you come to spoil me rotten? You are AWESOME! I'm at mom's - off to 'bike race official' school today and tomorrow. Oh yay.

My fave set of the moment, Bev ... so beautifully showcased with this fabulously framed single bloom ... gorgeous! Master bedroom? Hahahahahahaha (was that a touch hysterical d'you think?) ... I challenge you to find one hidden somewhere amid the renovations, my friend ... I haven't done yet, but you'll be so welcome to try!!! Hugs & bisous, bisous, Anita :)

Love your pretty purple-for-the-cause card, Bev. I have mine made so you won't have to visit, even though I'd love it. Especially the chocolate part. For coffee, you're on your own. We don't drink it and I don't even have a pot to make any.
