Still in my jammies...

It's 3:00 in the afternoon, and I'm still in my jammies. I didn't have to go anywhere, and no one was coming around, so why not?! Spent the whole day in my craft room playing. Lots of birthdays within the next week or so, and I really needed to get those taken care of before any more time passed. Will just show you two of them today but I'm sure you'll see the others soon enough.

The first card up is for the current challenge at TIME OUT. It's been a while since I've played, and thought it was the perfect inspiration to jump back in. Amy Wanford has an inspiration card there that is just darn beautiful. Check this out:

*sigh*
Totally adore this card. My take is based on her snowflakes and all that beautiful white space

In real life it's delicate and lovely. The blue is more aqua-ish, but it's overcast and gray outside, which complicated my lighting... All the stamps are from My Cute Stamps. The inks are from ME, and there's a scrap of vellum under the snowflake panel. One dab of Stickles in the center of the snowflake and one sequin rather than the "o." Love the way this looks irl.

Next I've got a birthday card for sweet little Kaylin's 3rd birthday. I'll be popping this into Seize the Birthday. It's been some time since I've played there too. Dang! And it's such a fun place to play! Gotta do this more often.... Anyway, it's an 'Anything Goes with no toppings' challenge. I think this is perfect for a little girl's birthday:

All stamps are from PTI. I used a double sided paper for the tutu and the scalloped layer, it's from Doodlebug. VersaFine black, and Ocean blue inks. Some copics for coloring, an MFT pierced rectangle die, a ME scalloped die, and the #3 from Jillibean Soup. Fairly certain that Miss K. will like this.

With that, I'll go straight to post. Happy dances everyone.

We are in the middle of a snowstorm so your first card perfectly fit's the mood here! (Although there are a lot more snowflakes whirling around than just one!) It's beautiful and CAS with the hint of stickles and the sequin!
And your ballerina card is simply adorable with the paper pieced skirt and Miss K. will definitely love it!

Love the cards. But I have to say the idea of you still in your jams at 3, now that is my kind of girl. I fear when I really get old I may never dress unless I am going somewhere. There is nothing better than no bra. :)

These are great, Bevie! That snowflake is pure as newly fallen snow! Breathtaking! And your paper-pieced ballerina could not be more adorable! So sweet to have her hold the number three!! I'm so happy you got to have a play day in your jammies!! Hugs, Darnell

These are both so wonderful. That snowflake card is so serene and really suggests a cool snowy day. Your ballerina stole my heart, especially with that fab tutu.

How fun to spend the day in your jammies...so jealous! Yesterday we had a snow day at work because of the major rain storm and I wanted to do the same thing but I did not. Your cards are just so beautiful and adorable too. I love your sweet little ballerina, so precious. Miss you lots...take care!

The wee ballerina actually looks like Caylin! She is going to be over-the-moon excited when she sees this card - especially with the flowered skirt! Awesome idea to rest the #3 in her hand! You are so dang clever girlfriend!

Your 'jammie crafting' has resulted in two absolutely delightful cards, my friend. The delicate snowflake in the first, amidst the lovely white space = swoon-inducing. The ballerina: LOVE it, as will Miss K! My Miss T has been talking ballet lessons since September; her first 'recital' is in March. She is so darn cute in her ballet outfit, with her hair tucked into a 'proper' ballet-bun. I 'need' to get some ballerina images for her...Smile-making post, Bev...BIG smile!

Jammie days are THE best!! I have a mixed family. My husband and oldest son get dressed, including shoes, right away every day. My youngest and I think there's nothing better than all day jammies!!

The snowflake is just lovely - so simple, pure and clean! And the ballerina is charming, especially with the way you included the "3" - it will be a big hit!

Sounds like my kind of day! Simply the best, but those days of going nowhere are too few at this time of year.
All three cards are simply amazing! Love the ballerina!

I'm planning a few days like this over the holidays, Bev ... you're an inspiration! LOVE your snowflake ... crisp, CAS and with the most delicious minute glitter centre ... and the sequin in the 'snow' is perfect ... LOVE that too! Such a cute card for sweet little Kaylin ... the ballerina holding the 'three' is completely adorable! Hugs, Anita :)

Firstly, oh how I wish I could create CAS cards like you do. The first is soooo elegant. And I LOVE how fun and cheerful the card is for Miss Kaylin! Pretty, pretty, pretty!
