I think silhouettes make such pretty cards, don't you? Here's what I came up with:
My first card is a (no duh!) 'thinking of you' card. And my second is a (double no duh!) birthday card. Two different designs for two different occasions using the same stamp, in this case.
This one starts out with a plain white panel on a green variegated base. I stamped the Technique Tuesday image, and an accompanying sentiment in CP Twilight ink, and done. Pretty CAS, and as you well know, I do like my CASness.
For this birthday card, I cut the center with a MB die on a white panel. The base was brushed with DIs in girly colors and the silhouette, along with an additional flower and butterfly, were stamped in black on top of the colors. That's a Verve sentiment. Another pretty darn EZPZ card. But effective, I think.
Please say you'll be joining us in the gallery. Head on over to The Twofer Challenge and see the cards the other members of the DT have made, along with those by our lovely Guest Designers. You'll find tons of inspiration there! That's it for me today, and I'll see you at Twofer. And as always...

CAS loveliness, Bev ... the simplicity of the soft grey with the variegated green border is beautiful ... calm and serene and gorgeous! The soft blending on your birthday card is such a great contrast to the crisp black silhouette ... it's both pretty and bold at the same time! Miss you ... big hugs and bisous, Anita :)
Your uber CASlicious designs are very inspiring to those of us who adore uber CASliciousness, Bevie! Your thinking of you design strikes just the right mood and your birthday card is a beauty with that pretty pink and yellow blending! Have a Happy Dances cozy weekend! Miss you! Hugs, Darnell
Great CAS cards Bev. I love the clean lines. The thinking of you card is simple and to the point, and your birthday card with the addition of the color inking is so festive.
Beautifully CAS Bev! Loving the blended colour panel on your second design, it's such a pretty combo of colours!
Your CAS duo rocks, Bev! I love the Twilight ink for your thinking of you card. Honestly, it reminds me of twilight (duh!). Your girly colors blended so purdyly to create a great center focal area for your silhouette of flowers. I love the addition of the butterfly! Hoping to chat soon. Still no results from the test - grr!
love the CAS design of both cards the simplicity has created two stunning cards :)
Wonderful Twofer with those silhouette flowers, Bev!! Just love the simple elegance of card one and the beautiful ink blending on card two!!
Oh my goodness Bev...your cards are both so CAS (which I happen to LOVE myself!!) and just perfect! Literally nothing else needs to be done or added to either one! Your thinking of you card is SOOOOO pretty in the Twilight ink and now I'm wondering why I've never done a silhouette card in that color before (just pulled it off the shelf and sat it in front of me so I'll remember to use it!!)?! Your birthday card in the soft pinks and yellows is just BEAUTIFUL Bev, but what I really love (besides the whole card!) is that MB frame...I love it and might NEED it! Two lovely, lovely cards my friend!! Take care of yourself and enjoy this beautiful Fall weather we've been blessed with! Hugs. :0)
Anyone who views this blog and doesn’t agree that silhouettes make lovely cards is clearly blind. And this fall has been exceptionally lovely! usually all the leaves blow off the trees in the days, but we’ve had a whole month of color!
You know I love CAS cards, Bev, and you've hit the jackpot with these! Love the simple silhouette flower that can stand alone with just a sentiment! So soothing and thoughtful! The soft inked background gives the silhouette a totally different look! Love that die cut frame! Isn't Fall grand? I love the cooler temps and warmer colors too!
I love your CASness, too, Bev, because you're really so good at it. Both these cards look absolutely beautiful to me. I love the stamp and the pretty background on your birthday card. I need more silhouette stamps, I think!
CAS and beautiful! Both are beautiful, and who wouldn't known a straight silhouette could be changed up so much!
What a perfect pair of cards. That stamp is stunning and it looks fabulous with that soft blended background with that little extra butterfly. It also works so well on it's own xx
*Wildly waving hello* Bev, your silhouette cards are absolutely beautiful and have completely captured my CAS-loving heart! Elegant and classy, both! I'm especially crushing over your ink blending in the second; so soft and pretty! Hope you're doing well. We're fine but the 'numbers' here in Alberta are on the rise so we continue to stay at home. Hopefully, improvements will come so we can head north. Haven't seen my mom since February and my brother's family since their short couple-of-days visit back in May. Happy we have Lily to keep us out-and-about!
Such an honour to have 'played Twofer' with you and the team this month!
Hugs and love,

Our fall October month has pretty pretty darn warm and I'm not complaining. lol Not hot, but just right to me. But I do love fall, I love the harvesting going on around me-makes me think of DH as he would have been harvesting too and probably is in heaven. I love chili, sweatshirts and yes all the pretty leaves. It's football weather here in this house, as Bret is all about college football and some NFL football. Always been that way with all the guys. I was out numbered. lol I am loving your Twofers Bev! I so love silhouette stamps, especially Technique Tuesday's stamps. They have the best ones! Your thinking of you card is so CAS and perfect. A black and white card with a pop of color is always so pretty to my eye. Your second twofer just gives me warm and fuzzy feelings with those colors. I love the silhouette on top of those colors with the added flower and butterfly. Not sure how you made the grass disappear but you did beautifully! Makes for a another great CAS card! CAS always is delightful to the eye! Big hugs my sweet friend! Brenda
There is just something so soothing and attractive about a CAS card, Bev, and your TOY card is perfection. If you have to add a little color, your wonderful ink blended combination is the way to go.
