Hey! Hi! How Are Ya?!

Even though we got a little snow, even though I have to get the laundry started, and even though I need to get a jump on dinner, I know exactly where my priorities lie. In the craft room. Pretty sure you'll all agree with me. So I found a challenge and made a card. It's off to Freshly Made Sketches.

I had an idea right away. So I got all inked up. Good day for it too. I really don't feel like going out on the snowy roads today.

I'm always needing more masculine cards, and this one fits the bill I think. I used the Altenew Leaf Canopy stamp and a HA sentiment. I heat embossed my sentiment, which looks a little sparse now that I see it here, but it's down and that's that. The border die is from ME. And a few black scraps because. So I'm off now. Must get to a few things before the migraine blows up again and I have to take the meds. Ugh. As always though,

We got a dusting of snow here in MD, and its colder than it has been in a while. I napped most of the day but managed to get a crock pot of soup put on to feed us the whole day.

I love how you used the leaf canopy stamps, they make for such great cards manly, girly or other. This is a great mancard and I might just have to case it!

Fantastic masculine card! Great idea to use the greenery, and save the flowers for women :o) You take care, praying your migraine gets better quickly, and yay for you for putting the craft room first! Happy Dances back to ya ;0)

What a pretty take on the sketch, Bevie! I feel like I'm looking out through a fancy oval window in a fancy house to enjoy the leafy canopy! It's a perfick design for both guys and gals and I like how you did the sediment. Hope your migraines fade away soon, my little friend. It's awesome to see you have a play in your craft room!! Hugs, Darnell

It's a FABULOUS masculine card Bev, and I'm loving the green, black, and white color combo! And the sentiment looks fine!!!!! And thanks for ALL the snow you sent our way (NOT!!!)...we probably got another 2 inches just this morning on top of all we got Friday night and yesterday! It's finally down to just some light flurries, so I'm hoping that's the end for awhile!! PLEASE!! Hope the migraines gone and you're having a great Sunday! Hugs. :0)

Urgh migraines... nasty little beggars, fellow sufferer here and have been dealing with them for over four decades now and you never ever get used to the intense pain, look after yourself. Your card is beautiful, love the curved edge with black to match the sentiment x

We only got a tab bit of snow, but we got freezing rain instead and I would much rather have the snow. So some windows and patio/steps were all iced up as of last night and this morning. But it did melt enough to be broken up and shoveled off thankfully today. I stayed put as well! Love your take on the sketch, it indeed works for a masculine card. Love those leaves and the black just makes it all pop! I pray that the migraine stays away, I don't miss them at all! Big hugs, Brenda

That's a fantastic card, Bev! Great for a masculine birthday, or any for that matter. It really does look like a leaf canopy with light filtering through it! 7" of snow and the Packers lost so I'm ready for a new week!

Hi back at ya, Bev. I've been coveting that Leafy Canopy set for some time and I love how you've really made a canopy from them. The black trim and sentiment panel really set off the design.
