See...I told you! I have a peppermint, tootsie roll, gummy bear, M&Ms candy, and a host of other 'sweet' candyish stamps. But my brain went in a bit of another direction. An ice cream bar and popsicles. They're sweet, too! Together they look like this:
When I was a kid, I loved orange popsicles, but I always had to break them in half and share with my sisters or brother. But ice cream bars were 'built' for one! This ice cream bar has a lovely strawberry ice cream with a deep, rich, dark chocolate coating. Yum! Sweet!
Both treats were created with scraps, using a Studio Calico popsicle die. I added some bead "sprinkles" and an EH hand on my first card, (which is a thank you card and had a GC enclosed) and fussy cut the chocolate coating using the outside of the die as a template. A Hero Arts sentiment, and a white gel pen for some shine finished this rather CAS card. For my orange popsicle card (for one of my many grandchildren's birthdays), I used an RC patterned paper, and cut a scrap in the same color family with an Altenew frame die. I added a panel of vellum beneath to accentuate the treats, and the sentiment is from Sunny Studios. Sure wish you could see these in person; they look delicious!
Where "Sweets" take you this month? Halloween candy? Christmas candy? I can't wait to see what you create! The premise of Twofer is so easy, too. Two different cards for two different occasions using the same stamps, dies, stencils as your focal point. And as always...

I want one of those chocolate ice cream bars! I swear I can see the shine on that yummy treat. Great job, Bev.
Bev, the layers on your orange treet look great and remind me of the joy of a sweet orange popsicle. Your chocolate treat makes my mouth water. I love strawberry and chocolate together. Such a fabulous taste combo. The droplets you added make it look like a treat just waiting to be munched.
Yummy card, beautiful, hugs, Lori m
It was a warm fall day here today and I could have used one! Love how the hand is holding the chocolate one!
Oh, stop! Not only your yummy treats, but all your treat talk is making my mouth water! You made these look so delicious, Bev. Creamsicles are still one of my faves. Sounds like you have a lot of treat stamps and dies. I seem to be limited in that genre. What's wrong with me? Your darling cards make me smile!
Two yummy looking cards Bev! Loved your comment about always having to share the orange popsicles (orange was always my favorite flavored popsicle too...in fact, it still is!), but an ice cream bard being just for one! Haha!! Your chocolate ice cream bar card is actually making me hungry for one of the Hagendaas Bars out in the freezer right now...hang on, I'll be right back! OK, I'm back and JK! I didn't really go get one, but I wanted to! But anyway, both your cards are super sweet...love them both! Hugs my friend! :0)
Your chocolate covered ice-cream bar looks absolutely scrumptious!! These are both terrific. So happy to be joining you girls this month!
Two fun cards, and great sentiment for the gift card! Love these, now I need some ice cream :o)
Are you sure we're not from the same family? Even when there wasn't someone to share, I still was only allowed half - and remember hitting the split mark on the edge of the countertop - did you?
Sure is the perfect time to use that hand - and the chocolate dipped ice cream bar is just delicious, Bev! LOve the paper you used to layer with your fave orange twin-pop [mine was/still is root beer] & that perfect slip of vellum - sigh. totes adorbs twofer... xx
=]
these are both super sweet! Love all the dimension on the ice cream bar.
Oh my goodness!! These are DARLING!! I LOVE the chocolate pop with the little details and the use of the hand!! On the second the orange pops against that paper is just fabulous!! Beautiful design!
Such a sweet post Bev! Your cards are so fun, I especially love the shine and sprinkles on the chocolate ice cream!
Great idea to have that hand hold the dark chocolate ice cream bar, Bev. If only I could eat ice cream. I wouldn't eat the orange Popsicles either (not a fan of orange) but they sure look cute and sweet on your card.
Hmmm yum... your chocolate lollipop looks good enough to grab and eat, no wonder its got a little hand lingering. I love the zesty orange you chose for your second card, you can almost feel the juice dripping. Brilliant twofer cards x
Two yummy ice cream bars, Bev! Especially love the glossy chocolate one!!
Two mouth watering cards, Bev! I choose the yummy chocolate coated one! I remember breaking those popsicles in half to share. I just knew my brother always gave me the smaller half. We'll have to catch up soon.
You are bringing happy memories back to all of us with these handheld treats, Bevie! For me, too, it's the popsicles which had to be shared. I didn't have one of those choccie ice cream bars until I was an adult cuz they were too spensive when I was a kid. Can I say the beads you added are bits of almonds? Yummmmmmmmmm, makes my mouth water, especially since I've never had one with strawberry ice cream inside! Both designs are brilliantly delicious! I'm back safe and under water from not having WIFI for a week. You can imagine! But we'll chat soon! Hugs, Darnell
Purple popsicles were my first choice and, yes, I hated sharing one with a sibling. These are two fun cards, Bev!
I smiled reading your first line, Bev ... not only are we in October ... I'm only getting here at the end of it ... eek! Now, your frozen treats ... how gorgeous are these. The fresh orange one is all tangy and zesty ... my mouth is watering just looking at it! Oh my goodness, a sprinkled, chocolate enrobed strawberry ice cream on a stick ... simply scrumptious! Love how 'the hand' is offering it just to me!! Thinking of you, my friend ... and missing you heaps! Big hugs and bisous, Anita :)
Oh Bev! your twofer is just as SWEET! as it can be!! I can almost taste them!! : )
I sure have missed seeing all your delightful Twofers!! I pray all is well with your DH and wonderful kids and grandkids!!.
BIG (((Hugs)))
