And A Merry December To You!

The year sure has flown by, hasn't it?! I'm very curious to see what 2019 brings to us all; I personally, am hoping for no more heart troubles, and peace on earth of course! However, we're not quite done with 2018, and so I think I should write at least one more post and show you a couple more cards before we close out the year. Alrighty then, let's get to it, shall we?!

First up is a card that will play along at SSS Wednesday Challenge, where the prompt is 'anything goes.'

Here's what I made:

A pretty simple card really, except for gluing down all those little points and parts. Someday I'm going to invest in a Xyron machine just for things like this...(uh-huh...). A blue base, SSS snowflake die cut using glitter paper, and a Uniko sentiment. There really is some sparkle to it...

And I would be remiss, if I didn't play along with Amy's 2018 Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Bloghop. Thank you goes out to Amy and the Design Team for all the hard work involved in this hop. It's so much fun, and I hope to see you in the gallery too.

My card looks like this:

I found a scrap of polka dotted snowflake paper and went with it. That's a MB die on the inside of the white panel and an MFT on the perimeter. A PTI coffee cup and die and a sentiment from a different PTI set. EZ and fun to make. See you all in the gallery!

Bev, loving your cards...those snowflakes are so pretty! Xyron machine, I use to have one, but I'm a big fan of glue dots, the micro ones are great.
Your coffee card is definitely merry! Love that pattern paper and sweet coffee cup!

Two fun and festive cards to finish out the year Bev. Your snowflakes look beautiful on your turquoise background. And the coffee cup with the red polka-dot band is adorable!

I am sending you and John wishes for a happy and healthy 2019! Merry Christmas, dear friend! xx

Your cards are sweet!! I love them both but snowflakes AND polka dots? doesn't get any better than that! : )

Have you ever tried a spray adhesive for intricate little die cuts?? I LOVE using Elmer's Craft Bond. It has a good hold and resolves the problem of getting glue on all the little points and parts : )

Have a great week!

Two fantastic cards Bev!! LOVE your snowflake card and had to laugh at your comment about investing in a Xyron machine...bought one years ago and have yet to use it! Hahaha! So much for making life simpler!! And I love anything in red & white polka dots, so even though I don't like coffee (as Laura Bassen would say, it tastes like hot dirt!), I love your sweet card! Have a great rest of your week my friend!! :0)

Festive polka dots, Bev, how fun ... and downright cute! Those snowflakes are gorgeous against the blue ... all cool and fresh, just like snowfall! Have you tried Stick It ... it's brilliant for snowflakes ... and you can get an awful lot on one sheet! Miss you, my sweet friend! Big hugs and bisous, Anita :)
