Summer Coffee Lovers Bloghop 2017

Even though things are wackadoodle around here, I had to play at the Coffee Lovers Bloghop. Amy and the team are beyond wonderful for doing this, and I so look forward to this every season. I had a card made, or nearly so, but when I saw the sketch at Less Is More, something clicked. After a couple of granddaughters left this morning, and I got DH squared away, I took the time and made a card. I didn't sweep the kitchen, I didn't do the dishes, I didn't start the laundry, and I didn't do anything else for an hour or so except craft. *sigh* Playing in the craft room was long overdue. Someone in the house, who shall not be named and is not me, has needed some extra care the last week or so. But since there was some improvement, I could escape and make a card.

Here's mine:

I used my LF border dies to create the split. The bit of fun coffee paper is from a 6x6 pad that I've been hoarding saving. It's a Pebbles Happy Day. The rectangle is an MFT die, and the stamps are PTI and Sweet Stamp Shop. I colored the 'coffee' with Copics and Ziggies, and added some clear Stickles for a bit of pizazz. If things go well tonight with DH, I hope to get to some commenting. Cross your fingers! And as always...

I seem to have been the only one not to join in this LM sketch (and it killed me not to), but I have to say I like your's best of all! Very clever to combine it with the CLBH and use that darling coffee paper in the breach with the two-part sediment as a bridge! Very clever, indeed, my friend!! Miss you! Lots of hugs, Darnell

Creativity cannot wait, on the contrary, sweeping the kitchen, doing the dishes and the laundry, they can, they will unfortunately still be there when you will have finished in your craft room !! A perfect CAS card and take on our challenge Bev ! And what a fabulous combination of challenges ! It's such a clever idea to use pattern paper for this sketch and your sentiment is so great taking back the colours of the background ! Love it ! thanks so much for sharing and for playing along at Less is More !

Oh yes, let's, Bev ... get together for coffee that is! And we could throw in a little crafting ... and maybe some cake or cookies ... oh and someone to do all that sweeping, cleaning and laundry (on both sides of the pond)! Your shimmery coffee is so fun ... and fabulous with the cute background paper ... you just know how much I love all that glorious white! Thinking of you, my dear friend ... and missing you heaps! Hugs & bisous, Anita :)

I just caught up on a month of your posts. You surely are weathering a lot of bad days - but I am always inspired by how your faith and your love of family keeps you positive!!

I'm sorry crafting is sporadic with you, Bev, but it doesn't seem to cramp your style. This is a perfect way to use that paper for both challenges.
