Try, try again...

For some reason, Blogger wouldn't let me finish a post yesterday. Every time I tried to add a photo then more text, it kicked me off. So here I am today, keeping it short and trying very hard to get this in! I've got a couple of cards for a few challenges. First for Muse, and then for SSS Wednesday Challenge, and The Challenge. If this works, then I'll post again tomorrow if the day allows. Check out Tracey's inspiration for Muse... LOVE this!

Here's my take:

My gold wouldn't cooperate, so I went with black. There are some gold Stickles in the centers though. EH stamps, PTI rainstones, WPlus9 sentiment, AE die. A few Copics, and if you could see this in person, you'd see the petals have a bit of WoS on them.

And the inspiration photo from TC:

I made a little shaker card for Lily's birthday, which she loved. It happened to be in these colors. Who knew??!!

Where's the gray you might ask? Some is under the 'happy' and some is on the inside...

It's a see-through shaker!

LF star dies (large), AE star dies (small), MFT sentiment and a variety of sequins. Oh, and a MB "8." A large scrap of pink, a small scrap of gray, and some lovely strawberry red scraps. And since Blogger seems to be working, I'm not going to test it too far. I'll close with wishes for happy dances for you all!

Blogger has a mind of it`s own Bev! Your Muse card though is fabulous! I love your pretty flowers and that scripty sentiment. Isn`t it always a shame when we can`t fully share our wink, but we are familiar enough with it to imagine how beautiful it must be. Loving your see-through shaker, well done. Thank you for sharing with us at Muse this week!

Ugh, blogger and its infernal frustrating awfulness. Sometimes I wonder if the CEOs are having a bad week so they secretly set the coding to malfunction and the watch us all through our laptop webcams and giggle. But anywho- back to the real reason I'm here! Cards! Your shaker card is so sparkly and perfect for an 8-year-old! And your first card is so springy that it makes me want to pull out the picnic blanket.

Two wonderful cards Bev, beausitful colours and layout. Blogger is designed specially to cause us grief, my husband reckons its because the coding guys can never leave well enough alone and just have to tweek here or there and cause problems just to make life more fun, who knows.

Love both your cards. Your take on Tracey's card is very pretty with the softer colours & die cut frame. Your shaker card is really sweet & I love how it is see-through, very clever.

Your Muse card is fantastic, Bev ... love the black, and my gold embossing powder has not been cooperating either, lately ... can it get old? hmmm... Not wasting a moment thinking on it - the black is fantastic! Now Lily's card? OH MY GOODness she must have loved it, because it's fantastic!!

Blogger can be a pita sometimes Bev, but so happy that it finally let you post this post! I love your take on Tracy's card, so pretty and colorful....making me long for spring all the more. I bet the wink of stella looks fabulous on the petals. Your shaker card is awesome, love that you have something on the inside to look at than just the shaker pieces. I'm sure Lily was thrilled with this birthday card! Hugs, Brenda

I'm of the opinion that "Blogger" is doing all these nasty things on purpose! Think about it....they mess up, we complain and tell all our pals about our Blogger issues and before you know it, the whole world is talking about Blogger. Cheap (and frustrating way) to get their name out 'there'....

Two FABULOUS cards! The flower card is GORGEOUS! Simple elements, beautiful colors and a bold sentiment that works so well with the bold outline of the leaves! Yep....winner, winner here pal!

2nd card made me smile, imagining how excited sweet little Lily was when she got this 'really cool' card made especially for her by grandmas! The three little stars are PERFECT!!! Love how you incorporated the grey into your card.

What lovely cards you have for us, Bev! I'm really digging your see-through shaker card ... how cool is that?! Love that you put her birthday year on the inside. It's the personal details like this that matter more than the latest stamp or die sets, to the non-bloggers at least, which is probably where most of our cards end up. What a good reminder!

Have a wonderful week.

BIG HsPpY Hugs!!

Boo on blogger! Love the super sweet simplicity of the first card. It's so pretty. And who doesn't love a shaker card?! Very fun!

I was sure I'd parachuted in to leave a comment (an out-of-order moment), but apparently I didn't, or maybe blogger was playing games with me, too (I've had weird post situations of late, as well. Causes me panic!). I think your outlined-in-black flowers are gorgeous! If I had more space and a proper heat gun (I use this big thing that Andy uses to melt glue off his bike tires...it's kind of scary!), I'd emboss more often but until I win the lottery, my embossing will be a rare find, indeed. As a result, black is my version of gold *grin* Your see-through shaker for sweet Lily: totally adorable! Of course she loved it: YOU made it specially for her! Another treasure...
Hugs, love and missing you~c
