It's A Good Day!

Mr. Mojo is coming and going today, but I've managed to make a few things. I'm nearly caught up with comments, but thought I'd take a break and write a post before finish commenting and then I need to start the chili for dinner tonight.  And yes, Kim, I AM still in my jammies too, lol! It's been pretty much of a crafty day for me, and I'm loving it! Every single minute. Too cold to go outside today!

I've got a three card post, and my cards fit into multiple challenges, so if you want to bail now, my feelings won't be hurt. I'll try to keep the chatter down, and get on with it.

First up, I made a card for my baby sister's birthday. And I'm playing along with the Time Out Challenge, where we're to CASE the amazing Kylie. Her card is amazing as you'll see, and we're to add our own twist. My twist was to add gold to all the pink, green and white. I didn't have an embossing folder that I was in love with for this card, so I used something different.

Gorgeous, isn't it?! Here's my take:

I got the dp from my other sister (hi Sue!), and used it rather than an ef. PTI tag die and sentiment stamp. I cut the "Lisa" with my Silhouette and sponged on Delicata gold ink before I took it off the mat. Some gold ribbon, W Plus 9 flowers and leaves in various inks and done.

Next is my card to help PTI celebrate their Eighth Anniversary. Lots of celebratory challenges going on there! This one is for the recipe and sketch challenge. Congrats to Nichole and the team!
I chose this palette:

PTI8-color-inspiration-7

And this sketch:

PTI8-sketch-inspiration-3

Here's my card:

All stamps and dies are PTI. A scrap of ribbon, and a recycled bit of twine from a long-forgotten package. Some sequins, a couple of eyelets, and a bit of LF polka dot paper. Green PTI ink, and various others for the rest of the stamping.

And last, but certainly not least, one more card to go into the following challenges: Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge; All Creatures Great and Small, Simon Says Stamp; Work it Wednesday, Penny Black's Simplicity Challenge, and CASology 133; Love. Whew! I think this is the most challenges for one card I've ever done!

All the white is from Michaels. I used an MFT die for the focal panel. The "LOVE" is from good friend Maria, (reislingmama). She was kind enough to send me a card and lots of fun die cuts for my birthday in September. Thanks Maria! I've been hoarding them... The sweet bird and balloon are NBUS from Penny Black. Fell in love with these bitty dies, and am using them for the first time today. I put GA on the bird, but you can't tell from the photo...dang it! Scraps of red and black for the balloon. And that's a wrap. Time for me to put the chili on. Happy dances everyone.

Bev, it is so great to meet you! Maria from reislingmama commented on my blog this morning and asked if I knew you. I crawled out from under my rock and popped over to see you, clicked to follow, and then had to leave! Finally back now to say, "hi!" Where have I been?! Anyway, I really love your work, and am so glad to meet a neighbor!

Don't you love it when one card can be entered into so many challenges?? Although its a bit of a mission linking them all...... Just loving your CASE of Kylie's card. I love that gold patterned paper, its stunning and brilliant idea to have the pink tag behind (why didn't I think of that??? Always a pleasure to have you at TIME OUT and hope you get a chance to stay in your PJ's more often!!

Fantastic collection of cards today. They are all wonderful, but I have to admit a partiality to your CASology card. Brilliant detail is the bird--white on white, and that wonderful heart shaped balloon popping up in your love die. Thanks for playing along at CASology this week.
