Friday...

I am blessed. I don't have to work on Fridays, or Mondays. Today is going to be filled with Sunday School planning, wrapping the presents for the little ones, hauling down the Christmas stuff, and whatever else I decide to tackle.
But before getting down to work, I photographed the card I made last night, and will play along with CAS(E) this Sketch. This card used only one piece of patterned paper, and a scrap at that! Gotta love that!

So. White Bazzill cardstock, Echo Park's Pride and Joy patterned paper, Imaginisce stamp, Jenni Bowlin for Ranger ink, Pure Bubbles & Bling stickers. I pop dotted the sentiment, and rounded some corners. So very simple, and I think this works well for a masculine card. Happy Dances everyone.

Thanks for saying so, Caroline. I really enjoy this color palette, and the card took about 10 minutes to make! Bonus!!

Thanks Hannelie. I really did like this sketch. I might just have to use this and make a stack of them as part of next year's Christmas presents for our kids. I'm always looking for "guy" cards. Ready for Christmas?

Thanks Melissa. I had made a scrapbook page for my little grandson's book (one of his Xmas presents), and these were the scraps leftover! And I'm with you, blue and yellow are just about perfect together.

Hey Jackie, with the sketches you ladies over at CAS(E) this Sketch are coming up with, it's very easy and fun to play along. I do hope to play again!

Bev, this is a great take on the sketch! Love your use of yellow and blue (that's such a difficult color combo for me! and you've used it in a wonderful way!) and all the trendy details (the chevron and stars etc)
great card!

Thanks, Sylvia. I love using yellow & blue -- my bedroom is yellow, blue & white, so this was a fun and easy combo to use. Glad you liked it. : ) Bev

Thanks Kim. Those colors do pop off the white, don't they! I'm glad you liked it. Bev
