Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Card Two

I'm back with another card. And one I'm much, much happier with. It feels like I'm back on track with this card, and for those of you who know me, I'm pretty sure you'll agree. If you're not playing along, but you'd like to, you can find all the details here at the CLBH. Just grab your favorite beverage, have a leisurely gander through the gallery, and then link up. Who knows, you could be a winner!!

For this card, I've tried something new to me. I used a print and cut file from my Cameo Silhouette for the first time here. I turned it into a gift card holder for a Starbucks card!

You can just see the "FALL" themed gift card peeking out behind the leaves on the right side. The base is a very treasured, nearly-the-last-piece-of- Parisian Breeze cardstock from SU. (I know you know what I'm feeling Jen...) All the other papers are scraps, yippee!!! A bit of KF twine and a random button that happened to match. An AE stamp in Ranger Potting Soil ink, and a fussy cut sticker (can't deal with those white edges...) from Pebbles. Oh, and the die is from ME. Whew! This would make any one of my HS or college age grandkids happy. With that, I know you want to get onto the next one, so will wish you all happy dances.

Gorgeous colors! Parisian Breeze??? I honestly don't think I've ever seen this SU color. Can see why you 'saved' it - love it!

Great idea for a gift card holder! No surprise that the sproinky thread had me lovin' this card the moment I saw it! Print & Cut - haven't tried it yet. I think I am just too cheap to use up my computer ink (cuz we can't buy the cartridges in town).

LOVE the leave :)

...ooops....hit the send button too quick....

You are very brave indeed to use that paper. I've still got some treasured pieces in my stash and though I look at it from time to time I am not tempted to actually use it! Some day. Some day, I say to myself. I'm glad you used it to such a wonderful degree. The leaves are so colorful, I love that bit of twine behind the button and, of course, a cup of coffee is always a welcome thing!
