Two quick ones

Jumping right in....

Had to play again at the Lawnscaping Challenge. We are challenged to use patterned paper. Since I have scads, that was EZPZ.

Here's my (second) card:

The patterned papers are from Authentique. Lawn Fawn balloon stamp, SU ink, "birthday" arrow cut with Cameo, clouds die cut with MB die. The basket on the balloon was stamped and fussy cut from a scrap.

Card number two is for CAS(E) this Sketch.  Very cool sketch and I hope to play this challenge again. Check it out:

My take is a bit less literal:

All scraps on a white Bazzill base. PTI sentiment stamped with SU ink. A bit of random twine "attached" with MME enamel dots. I cut the flags with my MFT die. So that's it for today...I promise. Happy dances!

Look at you go! Two amazing cards! LOVE the oh-so-pretty papers in the balloon and banners (more pretty!) are a fabulous take on the sketch! Winner, winner to both, say I! As for promising you're done posting for today...say it isn't so! You've done two, so a third would be more than welcome...and a fourth, fifth...Craft away with gusto, my friend!!

Bev, I love both cards! Very cool paper-pieced balloon (the perfect open image for paper-piecing!)< and the banner card is CAS perfection. Awesome cards!

A patterned paper challenge, how perfect! May have to give that one some thought ... you know I'm all over the patterned paper now! Such a smart choice for your sky with the tiny dot paper. The balloon paper looks nice and airy, just as it should to float so high. Wonderful, Bev! Love your banner card too from the sketch.

Love your 'bit less literal' interpretation of the sketch! The enamel dot anchors are so cool! I can almost see the banners blowing in the breeze! Great DP and awesome white space!

Me again...hit the darn send button too quick!

Loving, LOVING, LOVING the balloon card! The arrow is awesome. I have found several ho-hum arrow files, but must have missed this one! Does it have a number or name? Beautiful paper on the balloon - love the sweet fussy cut basket!

Raining like crazy here right now - in fact we are under a heavy rain advisory. That means craft room time today - YAY!

I love that you used banners ...I would have thought to stick with speech bubbles ....but then again you had your thinking cap on. This is beautiful and love the papers you used. Hugs!

Ooh, thank you for reminding me I have this stamp set too! Stamping it on the patterned paper is a great idea - and that paper is really pretty. The blue, yellow and white is such a great combination. And the banner card is so clean and simple. I want to try more like that too but I often don't know where to begin. You make it look classy and elegant!
