Less is More

Have to run today. Really quick post. Playing along over at Less Is More today. Great sketch; check it out:

DH needed a birthday card for his brother. This will be flying all the way to Germany.

All but the card base are scraps. Bazzill white for that. Stamp is Imaginisce. Die is MFT. That's it. Happy dances everyone. (yep, that is a bit of yellow behind the vellum...)

Ooh ... stunning and striking, Bev, love the vellum sentiment panel layered over the top ... the yellow chevrons strip is so clever and inspired ... it so makes the sentiment shine! Anita :)

Wonderful male birthday card Bev! And your colors, so perfect for it too. Fabby design with those chevrons.

Wow! This is one spectacular creation. Too bad The Moxie Fab World Ombre challenge is over-you would have nailed it! Absolutely perfectly matched colors, both in tone & gradient shading. The touch of yellow is so unpredictably perfect!

You've totally got this Less is More challenge in the bag!

(You better make another one or two before you send this beauty one off across the pond!)

This is awesome! I love the ombre - I might have come up with that, but never the chevrons. So cool!

Great card for a guy - love the chevrons (on my *need* list) and that yellow highlight is the perfect 'special touch.' Simple with pizazz!! Want to join the His and Her class? You'd be a top student for sure! Thanks for commenting on my guy card assignment, although I think it needs a bit of renovating. Your message = happy dance!!
Got your em (thank you!!) - will write soon!

That card is coming to Germany - how cool. What a great choice of colors - love it. Also loved your previous post - about the blog friends. Yep, it sure is fun to hang out here isn't it? Hope you're enjoying spring's first rays of sunshine - we had a beautiful, almost summerish day today (BTW - that sunburst on your 10-min-raise-your-blood-pressure-dash is uber cool.)
