CASology 45

I'm enjoying memories from the wonderful weekend. I can still see those sweet little ones smiling and laughing. So darn cute! There are tons of photos on my phone, but I'll only share two tonight. First up is 3 year old Samantha. Just about the sweetest little thing and according to her daddy, needs her attitude tweaked every now and then..Grandma doesn't believe that for one second. She came out with her hair in a little pony tail and told grandma to take her picture cuz she looked so cute. Naturally I did!

After Sam came out, baby Kaylin ran to show grandma her dress. She looked so cute in her green dress and sweater, and had little flower sandals on too. Then she ran back into her bedroom and came out wearing this...I laughed so hard mommy and daddy came to see what was going on.

Pretty darn funny for an 18 month old child.

Now, onto bloggish things...I wanted to play along with CASology this week, having been treated like a queen at Tad and Marsha's, their cue card just seemed perfect.

I was not so much stumped, as what I wanted to make just didn't pan out. But after some adjustments, I did come up with something a little royal. Inside it reads, "For the royal treatment".

For a bit of a change up, I made a square card at 4.25 x 4.25. The base is Bazzill, the font is computer generated, and once again, all other papers are scraps (woohoo)!! The three little blings are from want 2 scrap. And that's all. Super easy. Happy dances everyone!

Yes, you deserve to be proud of those sweet little ones! Samantha is absolutely sweet as pie! I'm sure Kaylin is just as sweet (a bit hard to tell under the mask). You must have howled! Priceless pics. Their house looks absolutely beautiful - love the colors of the walls. The area rug colors would make an awesome card!

Speaking or awesome card....fabulous idea and gorgeous layout. Love the layers and the beautiful script font that you used. They are going to be thrilled when they get this!

Nice to have you back in blog land!

Your little grand-kidlets are just the sweetest, Bev ... not surprising you're a pround Grandma! That's some colour sense Kaylin has ... the mask matches her cute sweater! Ditto Geri on the house ... and that's just what I thought about the rug too ... very Mondrian!

What a wonderful card ... your joy from the weekend shines out from evey little bit of it!

Happy Thursday, my friend ... Anita :)

Yep, that is all really good news. Happy dance worthy! So glad you had a great time. Need to enjoy time with the little ones cuz they turn into big ones so fast! Love that mask - see what happens when you're the youngest?!?!? Great thank you card for them too. Obviously a cardmaker/challenge player brain in action there ;)

Yuor grandgirls are so adorable, and at nearly the same age as my niece and nephew, I know how well they're charged with energy, imagination, antics, shenanigans and all-around cuteness! Hope you spoiled and pampered them silly!
Your royal card is wonderful; perfect 'thank you' for royal treatment, indeed! Hope you're happy dancing today; I am...in puddles...

This is a fab thank you card - love the idea of the royal treatment (and your trip sounds like FUN! So amazing to see those little people and the fun things they do. I have a great photo of Kate at about aged 3 with a Darth Vader mask on, talking to Struan - it makes me laugh even now! Thanks so much for playing along with us at CASology this week!

Your grandchildren and adorable. I can't wait to someday "hopefully" have some of my own. IN the meantime, I now have two dogs, my latest being a 5 month old sweet little Chiweenie Puppy who I found through a rescue.

Okay..now back to business --- I think your card is wonderful, love the crown and especially LOVE the deep rich purple...my favorite colors.

I also think it's super creative and love how you added the "thank you" text!!

Good Luck and enjoy those sweet lil' ones!!
