Another thanks...

Thanks to all of you out there who wished my head all better. So far, so good today! I think the cycle is broken, and just in time. I have to finish cleaning the house and pack for the weekend. I'm headed to the Twin Cities to see two of my sons, and half dozen grandchildren. With much to do, I just didn't have time for another day full of migraine. So thanks blog friends, for thinking of me and wishing me well. It worked!

I put a little something together for this weeks Retro Sketches challenge. Laurie gave us this wonderful sketch, so how could I not play?! If I have time later or in the morning, I might use it again.

Wasn't I right? Such a great place to begin. And here's my take:

Bazzill white card base, and all the dp are scraps. MME enamel dots, Studio Calico bicycle, TAWS sentiment from Adorabowl, and SU ink. That's it. Super quick. Happy dances everyone.

I know you'll have a wonderful, loving few days with the family! I hope you have great weather, too, and no migraines!! xxoo Darnell

I'm happy dancing because that beastly migraine's left you alone ... have a splendid and special weekend my friend! Anita :)

Love the sweet smattering of the wee blue & yellow brads! Of course, the bicycle is beyond cute and totally steals the show on this card. Fabulous mix of DP and colors....chevrons are such a 'happy' pattern/shape!

Fantastic card - and the bicycle! WOW!! Want! Big want! I need to get some of those for sure! So happy your migraine has 'cleared the premises' - hope it stays far away while you're on your trip! Enjoy! We're off to see my husband's family tomorrow - heading west this time for a...yep, 6-7 hour drive each way!
