24 Hours...

In just about 24 hours, I'll be on a plane to the Twin Cities. There are several reasons why I don't get to see my two boys (and their families) very often, not the least of which is the 6-7 hour drive (each way). Rather than spend a day in the car, I thought I'd fly this time. While the visit won't be long, I plan to jam-pack as much fun and love in as I possibly can. Won't be back till Sunday, so may not post again until next week. In the meantime...

CASology has a new cue card and for a few days, I couldn't come up with anything. I let my brain mull the cue card, and in the deep, dark recesses of that vast emptiness, a small ping pinged. Then somehow, my sole ping channeled Ardyth. Now, if you haven't seen her fantabulously amazing cards, get over to MASKerade now. And you'll see what I what I mean when I say that I channeled her.

Are you ready? All influenced by my friend Ardyth, whose work I so admire.

Can you see a touch of Ardyth here? I hope so. Bazzill white card base, scraps of dp and white, two punches (and the flower one is super old), SU ink and a PTI stamp from Tag Its #3. So everyone out there go forth and happy dance!

P.S. Hi Sandy! I'll miss you and everyone at S&S Saturday.

P.P.S.

Couldn't resist showing you my ballerina, Lily (aka Pookie). Isn't she just the cutest little ballerina you've ever seen? And she likes to craft with Grandma!!

Ohhhhh! This is so perfect (actually the card and the ballerina are BOTH lovely). Love the bold stripes and the scale of the blooms. I don't see how I can take credit for any influence, but how about if I WISH I would have come up with this? lol! Thanks so much for playing along with us at CAsology this week, Bev!

Travel safely, my friend - I'll be thinking of you while we're off visiting my husband's family!

Aren't Ardyth's cards the best, and so distinctive? You did a fabulous job here. The striped paper behind the flower is just perfect. And holy smokes is your ballerina a doll!
