Still Here

Yep. I'm still here. This is my first non-scheduled post in months. DH had some (more) health issues which started in early June, and after a battery of tests, labs, doctors' visits, and medication changes, he's finally on the mend. Just in time to attend our grandson's wedding! We'd had a ton of family in and out, and it was lovely. Will show you a shot from the wedding.

That's Melissa, sil Jerry, Jessica, the groom Christopher, our daughter Cathy, and Elizabeth.
Such an amazing family, and when I can find more photos, I will do my best to share another one or two, but not overshare...unless you twist my arm, lol!

After our company left, so did my mojo. It took several days for me to find it hiding in with all the extra blankets and pillows, where it complained that it was just plain exhausted. Wuss.... So while DH was sleeping in this morning, I found a challenge or two and worked on some cards.

Here's the first which will head off to Less Is More, where the brief is a one-layer card using Winter Flora.

All the stamps are from WPlus9's Woodland Wreath set. It's an NBUS for me, but has been on the market for several years. The card looks crooked, but that's just my "amazing" photography skills (or lack thereof!).

I used the some of the same stamps for my second card which I made for the current Color Throwdown challenge. Pretty Fall colors...

I stamped the branches and berries twice in AE Fizz and ME Smoke inks. The sentiment is from Gina K. Another one layer card, which is a nice and easy way to get that sleepy mojo going again!

For now, I will close. I'd like to visit your blogs and leave a little love, if time and DH's demands permit. That's my goal for today. It's nice to be back and as always...

You're back?? OH I'm so happy to hear that, Bev! Thanks for sharing this part of your wonderful family - it must have been a very happy day, as it shows in those beautiful smiles! OH and I'd bet there was plenty of happy dancing at the reception, too!!
Fabulous cards - and surely they meet the criteria perfectly.
I just made a bittersweet wreath for our front door! A faux one, but I'd bet money you couldn't tell!

I'm still here too...or trying to be. lol Glad DH is on the mend again. It's a vicious cycle with health I know. My fall back in the end of May kept me healing most of the summer. I love the wedding photo and of course we want to see more!!! I look even though I don't have the time to comment. It looks like it was a beautiful wedding! Ahhh, Mr. Mojo is hard on us all isn't he? He gets exhausted as well. But looks like your Mr. Mojo has rested as these are stunning cards Bevie! I love that wreath stamp set, it is gorgeous!! I love how versatile your wreath stamp set is. I love the Christmas one, but I adore the fall one too. Just beautiful! Hugs, Brenda

So glad John is doing better and you had a wonderful wedding to enjoy with family, Bev. It's been a while since I've used that wreath and you've done a beautiful job with it. I must pull mine out and see it I can do as well.

So happy to hear your hubby is on the mend and that you had a lovely time at the wedding, but you are right it's all very exhausting but so much fun too! Good luck with the mojo, it can run away sometimes lol. But I would never have known for the 2 fabulous cards you made, you rocked it!!

It's wonderful to see all these loving comments above since I'm so late dropping by! You are missed when you don't post, my sweet friend. I hope this craftiness made your Mr. Mojo happy and he'll want to play more now. You two sure worked well together on these amazing winter and fall wreaths! I love the OLC QACASness of both designs! And thank you for sharing the photo! Nothing like a wedding to bring out brilliant smiles! I'm glad to hear that John is mending and I hope it continues apace!! Lots of love and hugs, Darnell
