Here Again

I'm back in blogland again. We had company and a birthday party last weekend, then for some reason unbeknownst to me, the migraine troll decided to have a five-day vacation in my head. Ugh. That despicable troll finally checked out late yesterday morning, and I couldn't be happier! Since he left, I played a little in the old craft room! I've got one card for you to scope out today, and unintentionally, it's a one layer card. This one will go into Where Creativity Meets C9, where the challenge is to use Ink Only.

  Concord & 9th

For this card, I've used the Flourish Stamp Set

For this I've layered inks both on the blossoms and on the leaves. I love the way the peeks of browns show on that pretty green in the leaves. I chose orange and yellows for the blooms in honor of Fall. That's an RC sentiment, stamped like those leaves. I've got to run for now; that migraine troll did no cleaning, so that's on my agenda for today. As always...

I'm glad that the migraine is gone now, Bev. The troll must have a long vacation. :-(
I love the beautiful and subtle ink layering of the card. The design (flow) and the colors are so peaceful and sweet. Hideko

Great to hear the nasty old troll has vacated the premises! Hope he's packed his bags and left for good! This is such a pretty C9 set and your showcase...swooning! You've transformed it into a lovely fall card with the pretty orange/yellows and green/browns. I think you should waltz it over to Uniko, where Autumn/Fall is the current challenge; it would find a most warm welcome in the gallery!
Hugs~c
PS. Thursday...wooo hoooooo!

I'm so glad the troll is gone and you're feeling up to crafting because this card is stunning, Bev. One large image with a little rock and rolling of the ink and you've created a soft and awe inspiring card.

Good to hear you're feeling better, Bev ... hope that troll stays away for a loooooooong time! Not only is he inconsiderate enough to take up residence in the first place, he doesn't even clean up before trolling off elsewhere ... no manners as well as being evil ... good riddance! Your card is beautiful ... soft and stylish ... and the most delicious colours. Waiting for this set to come back into stock ... your card has me getting itchy fingers! Miss you, mon amie! Big hugs & bisous, Anita :)

What that troll stayed for 5 days? Who does he think he is! Hope he leaves you alone now, preferably forever!
