I think I'll blame the company we had for over a week, and then DH getting sick the day they left. My heart was in the right place, however. Card you ask?? But of course. It's a CASE of one of Geri's, though I'll admit that hers is way better. (Colors are much nicer irl, too.) Still, I know she'll appreciate my efforts...right? Geri?....Geri?....

With that, we've come to the end of the "party" part of the post. Now for a special wish or two. Miss Geri, may your summer be long, your winter be short. Let the fish swim, the flowers bloom, and the skies be ever blue for you. Here's hoping your birthday is as wonderful as you are, and all your wishes come true. Once again, you have outdone yourself as party planner extraordinaire! The venues were delightfully decorated, the food was delicious, the drinks were yummy, the sweets were delectable, the yard ornaments made me drool (I want/need the three round planters in my front yard) and the curling rock cupcakes ROCK.
But your tag card steals the show! I had forgotten all about the tag card that I made...it was ages ago! It warms my heart to know that you remembered it and did a bang-up job CAS-ing it!
Dear friend, your kind words made my heart smile the biggest it has ever smiled (except when I got to meet you IRL). Thanks for the fabulous party Bev and for being my BFF. Miss you tons :)
PS...the flowers are finally starting to bloom, the skies have been mostly blue, and the fishies are happy to be swimming laps in the pond!

Every time you throw a party, Bev, I think it can't get any better ... and then it does ... this one's been spectacular! The most wonderful surroundings, fabulous decorations, delicious food and drink ... and oh my those perfect-for-Geri gifts! Then you go and top the lot with your gorgeous CASE of Geri's sweet card, with it's vibrant, luscious colours and perky polka dots ... and your beautiful (and true) words for our sweet friend ... you are a true star, my lovely friend!
