Have you heard?

Have you heard that Jackie Rockwell put together a new challenge? It's called the Fusion Card Challenge. Oh. My. Gosh. This is soooooooo fun. You have got to go check it out, if you haven't already. It's a 'scientific' challenge. Pick one side of the challenge, or pick the other side of the challenge, OR, fuse the two challenges together. Seriously. So many possibilities and so much fun.

PROCEDURES:
1. Play with just Jackie's sketch challenge.
2. Play with just Lesley's inspiration photo challenge.
3. Or you can create FUSION by combining BOTH challenges into one card.
4. Use the challenge graphic and link back to Fusion in your post.
5. Please read the other considerations on the Experiment Page before playing along.

If you click on the link, you'll get a better idea of what Jackie and the DT has in mind.  For my card I went with Jackie's challenge. It sort of fuses the two, but not enough in my mind to be eligible for the true 'fusion'.

The photo looks a little goofy. Someday, I'm going to take a small item photography class. (or not...) If  When I win the lottery, I'll just have a professional photographer on call to do that part. It looks better IRL. Here are the deets. Bazzill white card base. Green and floral scraps. (And I try so hard to use up my scraps, but somehow, the boxes don't seem to be going down...why is that???!!!) PS Sentiment Sampler and random flower flairish sticker thingys. Popped up the green panel and rounded those corners. Channeling Geri G. So how's your Sunday going? Mine's great. Later today we're headed over for birthday cake for our DGD Lizzy. 15. *Sigh* Where has that time gone... Happy dances everyone.

Good to see you back with another sensational card, Bevie!! It's definitely a great take on the sketch, but I think you could have called it a fuse fursure.

Happy birthday to Lizzy!!

Take care and I hope you have a wonderful headache-free week ahead! Mwah!! Darnell

Hey, I felt the channeling and here I am. Spent the entire day on the invites (Danny was a huge help!), covered a fair bit of ground, but a WHOLE lot more to go and really ready to get some sleep :)

Love the colors in this card! Clean, simple and perfectly balanced dear friend! I'm looking at this and thinking how versatile it can be - youngster or oldster alike would love this! Change the sentiment and you have the perfect mom's day card or even a get well wish!

Talk at you tomorrow :)

What a springy, bouncy, refreshing card; a delightful 'vision' of the Fusion challenge. Using flowers as chevrons = creative! While I quite like chevrons, they, alas, cause me 'crafting grief' - as you'll see when I post my entry. I've added chevron die to my 'wish list' and ink (again, once I post, you'll see why. Inks/stamping befuddle me. Seriously! Give me scissors and let me paper-piece and fussy-cut away). Super card -makes me want to happy dance!

Tee hee ... scraps never go down because when we're not around, they're out hunting for other scraps to make friends with and bring home! A fabulous fusion card, Bev, that lime base is mouth wateringly zesty and I love the profusion of flowers across the zigzags! So pretty! Anita :)
