Back (and with a question...)

Second post for today. Maybe my nojo is on break and the mojo is covering for it...I surely don't know. What ever is happening, it feels pretty good.

Not sure if I've mentioned this before, but a couple of you bloggy folks already know that I have a mild form of dyslexia. Certain things refuse to either take hold, or only become a part of my memories/brain processes after finding a round about way to get in. For example, the only way as an adult that I can discern my left hand from my right hand is that I know that my wedding ring is on my left. That in turn, is a signal for all lefts and rights. Works most of the time. I don't know how else to live, and these little problems usually don't bother me too much. So here's my question, and it will probably be longish. (Is it my dyslexia that has caused me to not figure this out or am I just not blog savvy enough?) I'd love to add a couple more clickable badges to my right side bar. CASology is one, and Fusion is another. However, there is no code beneath the badges for me to copy and then go into my layout, add a gadget... Is there anyone who can give me some pointers on this? And the other part of my question, and it is truly just a wondering question, - why don't all challenge blogs put code beneath their badges? Sorry for sounding like a ditz.

Onward and upward (no lefts/rights here!).

Haven't played over at Muse for a couple of weeks. The incredible Jen Mitchell is the guest designer, and she's created something awfully cool. Take a peek:

For me it was love at first sight. *sigh* My take is slightly different, but definitely think that you can see Jen's work in my card.

Bazzill white card stock base, scraps of brown, aqua, and white. Avery Elle sunburst stamp, MFT sentiment, memento brown ink, Studio G aqua ink, the coffee cup sticker from K&Company, Twinery twine, Cuttlebug embossing folder, and some brown blings from Pebbles. Happy dances everyone.

Bev, your card is perfect for every coffee lover out there! I love how the coffee cup is right in the middle of the starburst image!

As for the clickable links in your sidebar, I'll send you an email with some tips.

Wow! Look at you go today girl! This is amazing! Your coffee cup feature is fabulous - love the sunburst image, but love how you layered the brown & aqua. Looks like a cup & saucer duo!

Sweet way to anchor the twine - so perfectly straight!

Not sure if I am doing it right, but I just select the "Add a Gadget" feature and then choose "Image" and select either "from my computer" or "from the web". Cut & paste and it seems to work.

I'm quite sure that Jen will point you in the right direction with much better instructions than what I posted :)

Love how you've showcased the coffee cup (yep ... coffee ... yum!) to tie it in with the sentiment, Bev, especially the 'always'! The twine at the bottom between the two bling coffee beans is perfect! Anita :)

Was about to let you know what I do to get badges up ... and then I noticed you've already got them, so I wont!! :)

I'm with Geri on the "add an image", but it looks to me like you can add a link at the same time so that clicking on the image gets you to the blog of the image (of say, CASology, but I'll also ask Melissa about providing html). As for your card, I love the sunburst around the coffee - I'm not a coffee drinker myself, but I know that people feel like it's very special! Thanks for playing along with Muse!

Wonderful card, Bev...absolutely wonderful! I definitely see MUSE inspiration, but most of all, I love that you've "Bev-ized" it with your own unique, special touches. Love it!!!

I love your CASE of the MUSE card this week, Bevie. Love, Love, Love!

I am sorry I haven't been able to visit for a few days and didn't see this when you first posted it, but when I came in the front door on my way here just now, I see that you got your question answered on how to add images without code! Again, super people in this community!!
