There's a count down on for me now...LOTS of company coming from mid to the end of August, and I have to get tons done and finish planning two parties two days in a row; the second one with about 150 guests coming. Hence, I am working hard to finish all the August birthday cards by tomorrow. Only four to go...I did manage to get one done for my grandson Grant. We'll help him celebrate at a Brewers game but the card pays homage to Cubbie Blue! BTW, he does know the words to
Go Cubs Go, (sung by the crowd at Wrigley Field when they win), so grandma is happy. He's a great kid and that's him smooching me in my profile pic. I will pop this into the Shaping Up Blog Hop & Giveaway as it happens to fit well. That JJ Bolton is
the bomb at card making. Probably at everything else too! : )
Anyway, here 'tis:
The deets: SU white and brown cardstock, Bazzill blue, red, and green cardstock, Cricut cartrides Life's a Party and SportsMania for big ball, bats, and pennent. Recollections stickers from Michaels: Alphabet and glove. I free cut the first baseball diamond, then used an old-school tool -- the magic matter -- to trace, and then cut the outer ones. Happy Dances everyone...
