Twofer Challenge #25

I hope this finds you well and that you're ready for this month's Twofer Challenge. We've got a good one, and I have to say that I had some fun with it! Who wouldn't love:

In that teeny-tiny (liar) stash of mine, I have bunnies, lambs, fawns, and lots of other baby animals but went with these:

A chick and a bunny. I've made an Easter card, and a Thank you card with these cuties.

For my Easter card, I created a black and white background with a chick and bunny from a set by  Studio Calico. I used a PTI die to cut that little yellow polka dotted frame. The sentiment is also SC.

While it's difficult to see, there's a white panel cut with an MFT rectangular die sitting on top of the white base. I die cut a hexagon into the lower right of the panel, and slipped my little scene behind it. The sky and grass were colored with Zigs on watercolor paper, and then I stamped the chick onto the grass. I stamped a second chick on a scrap and Copic colored it, fussy cut it and popped it onto the already-stamped chick. I added a "tweet" from the same SC set, and a "you're so" from a C9 set. EZPZ.

I'm wondering what you'll come up with. I can't wait to see! You are playing along, aren't you?! Of course you are!! Be sure to stop by The Twofer Challenge Blog and see what our fabulous DT has created as well! See you in the gallery, and as always...

Polka dot yellow ... with the line art black and white bunnies and chicks, Bev ... such a sweet card ... and a delicious, light and airy colour combo! Your tweet chick in his hexagonal scene is adorable ... so fresh and spring-like ... and so wonderfully CAS! Thinking of you, sweet friend ... big hugs and bisous, Anita :)

Bev, what darling cards with your chick and bunnies. Loving that pop of yellow dotted paper on your Easter card. So bright and cheery. Your thank you is fab and I love the idea of the die cut shape instead of trying to mask off a shape...brilliant.

Chicks and bunnies are perfect for your fun Easter card. I love polka dots so that frame caught my eye first. The chick looks so cute inside the hexagon shape. That is a fun way to show the sentiment and the double layer gives great dimension.

Your two EZPZ CASlicious cards are perfectly examples of two distinctly different, yet still CAS designs, Bevie! I know a few adorable grandchildren who are going to love these designs!! Hugs, Darnell xxoo

What clever and fun cards Bev, I always am such a big fan of a stamped background and a CAS card, so both of these tick a big happy box for me!

How tweet are these cards?! I love your scalloped polka dot frame as the one color on your Easter card, it's such a cool idea! Your little chick actually looks like she is singing her little heart out in her hexagon window! Two fantastic twofers, Bev!

Your graphic black and white background with the pop of color is wonderful, Bev, and the little tweeting chick is so cute in his inky hexagon.

I'm keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you are finding some time to escape into crafting. With older kids (and no grandkids) I'm not too worried; however, both my husband and I still go to work every day and we're in that age range.

I had a brief busy time trying to figure out how to get kids home from far away college with 24 hours notice so I'm really late catching up on blogs - but your spring animals gave me a smile. They are both so sweet and I especially love that little chick in the hexagon scene. The pop of color on that fresh white card is just perfect!
