Now. The reason you're here... It's Twofer Challenge time again, and Darnell and the rest of the DT has some pretty spectacular cards to show you for this month's prompt, which is:
While this challenge runs, it will officially become Fall in this part of the world. Such a pretty time of year, and I'm so blessed to live in an area with four very different seasons. Fall has become one of my favorite times. Maybe it's the crisp air. Maybe it's the color or the crunch of the leaves. I'm not sure why, but it is such a special season. ( I suppose it could be the pumpkin pie too, lol!!) Anyway, I've got some leafy cards to show you:
Here they are together
And here they are individually
Don't ask me why my brain went all salmon-colored polka dotty for that first card...it just did. I'll admit I do like the way it turned out though. It makes a really nice anniversary card - chock full of love! My second card will be sent to family members who can't make it to our Thanksgiving feast.
Both cards use the same stamp and die set from The Stamp Market. I used just the die on the first card, and the matching stamp for the second, along with other sized leaves from the same set.
The salmon-colored polka dotted paper is from LF, and the center panel is from an unknown 12x12 sheet. I added a black 'frame,' a tiny punched out heart, and a snippet of black twine to the leaf. The sentiment on the Thanksgiving card is from SSS, and I used all my Fall colored inks to create a giant leaf pile. Looks fun enough to jump in, doesn't it?!!
Be sure to check out the sweet cards created by our Guest Designers Susan and Linda, as well as the rest of the Design Team over at the Twofer Challenge. And play along with us! There are soooo many possibilities for this prompt! See you in the gallery, and as always...

Oh BEV....shocked to hear about your ablation but so thankful that you're on the mendπ
Love both of your fabulous leafy cards...I just picked up that Turning Leaves set, thanks for the awesome inspiration.
So glad you have pretty much recovered from your procedure!
Your cards are fabulous! The polka dotted one radiates love! The tiny heart in the leaf is so sweet! And the colorful pile of leaves goes so well with the lovely sentiment! It would indeed be fun to jump in!
These are both gorgeous, Bev! That first one in the sweet salmon pink polka dot is so unexpected ... and so delightful! The graphic style of the repeat sentiment is beautifully paired with that fun, twine tied leaf with the sweet heart cut into it! You're right, that cascade of leaves on your second card does look as though it's perfect for jumping into ... you created such a brilliant sense of dimension with your stamping and all those luscious autumn colours! Oh, and I love that sentiment ... says it all! Big hugs & bisous, Anita :)
I'm so relieved that you're feeling better and that the ablation did the trick. Your love card is lovely! The tiny heart is a sweet touch. Your pile of leaves looks so inviting - those relatives will be sad they missed the event, but cheered by this card. Since you brought up fall, how did you like that Packer game last night?! I almost went to bed early!
I am so happy to hear that all went well Bev and that you are back to normal or as close to it as you can get! Thank goodness for the ones in our "village" who help us! I hope DH is home and doing as well also. The Lord is good and we know one day we will go home with Him, but it isn't today my friend!!! I love your twofer cards, such a fun challenge and the leaves are perfect for those of us who live in the area's that experience a true fall. Fall is beautiful, it smells good, it tastes good, it feels good-fall is amazing! Just like your cards! I love the non traditional card with the "love", the colors are beautiful and I love how you used your leaf! Your twofer is so reminiscence of fall! A huge pile of colorful leaves and a time where we definitely praise our blessings and are grateful for so much in our lives. I pray that you and DH have lots to be thankful for in years to come! Sending BIG hugs, Brenda
Thank you for the heart update, Bevie! I'm so glad the ablation stopped the trigger from being pulled! We want you well and inspiring us with your beautiful designs! Your cards are both terrific examples of different ways to use the same stamp and die set! The salmon polka-dotty love card is perfect for a fall anniversary and oh, my, yes, I just want to turn back time and jump in that pile of leaves! Love that perfect sediment, too!! Hugs, Darnell
First off - so glad you're feeling better, Bev!! Just love both your pretty leaf cards - the leaf with heart is so sweet and I love all the colorful stamped leaves too!!
So happy to hear that you are doing well Bev!! I have been thinking about you a lot lately. How wonderful that a lot of the recovery is now behind you. I hope John is doing well too!!
LOVE your two beautiful leaf cards Bev! The pink polka-dot paper is adorable and the background of repeat stamping. Great design, my friend! Your fall coloured leaves do look like they'd be fun to jump into. Fall is my favourite time of year as well. It's all of what you said combined into an amazing season. xx
So wonderful to hear all your heart procedures went so well. You should be good as new now, what a Blessing.
TFS your gorgeous leaf Fall colors too. I also love Fall because of all the beautiful colors, cooler weather, the rains which will hopefully be back soon in the Northwest that has had another horrific wild fire season. No fires near us, but the smoke comes our way depending on the winds. Enjoy your Fall, Bev and the upcoming Holiday season. Hugs...Nancy
Wonderful and amazingly beautiful leaf cards. I love that pretty leaf you chose as well. And, so glad you are mending well now. That is good news!
That dotty salmon cardis too darling with the lil heart punch in the leaf. You can tell that card is full of love. Your fabulous pile of leaves is so lovely and colorful and reminds me why I love fall.
I'm so glad everything went well and you're back to normal, Bev. I agree with you about Fall and your blessings card looks just like a pile of leaves should.
Oh Bev, what great news for you and I'm so glad things are getting back to normal. Your cards are lovely. That sweet pink is a love color and great for an anniversary card. Your fall leaves are truly gorgeous. I love all those wonderful colors and I'm right there with you on the pumpkin pie!
Hi Bev,
oh yes I would be doing a Happy Dance if I made those.
Love the salmon polka dot one, and the gorgeous colours of those leaves in the second one is stunning.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
Thanks so much for the kind words to my new york card! Your cards are beautiful too. I especially love the second one. Beautiful leaves and beautiful colors.
hugs

I'm amazed with the two completely different looks you got by using the same stamp! WOW! I love the CAS look of the love card, but the 2nd card with all those warm autumn colored leaves is just wonderful! You did a fabulous job with this month's twofer, and thanks for leaving such wonderful comments on my blog too :)
I'm thrilled that you are feeling better and slowly getting back to normal! AND that you created two lovely cards. They couldn't be more different with the same products. LOVE the look and meaning behind both of them.
So good to hear your procedure went well, and you are recovering from all the upset. That must have been quite frightening. Love your salmon colored card (looks pink on my monitor!) and it is a perfect card for anniversary, birthday or valentine, or any other occasion. I like how you've placed the single leaf over the bold sentiments, and echo'd that with the tiny heart shape in the leaf. Again, the image is so pretty as a corner design with the multi-colors of fall. Very good 2fers for this challenge. TFS
Your cards are perfect! I love your autumn card, your leaves look like real autumn leaves. Wonderful view. And I love the second card, the pink color beautifully fills the cut out outline of the leaf. Such a nice card.
I hope you feel much better now, Bev :-)
hugs,
BozenA
