I've got two cards for today. This first one is for the 2016 Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop, created, supported, and magnificently run by Amy Tsuruta and her team. I'd gush tons more, but if you're here, you know exactly how wonderful she is, as is her DT, and just how much fun it is to play along.
My card looks like this:
Made with scraps of white, red, and gray, plus one of Verve's stamp sets with a touch of some from Ellen Hudson (the steam). The Mama Elephant's Smoke ink shows up so much nicer irl, too. Added some Stickles to the poinsettia's centers, as well.
And I wanted to show the card that my granddaughter, Lily, made on Thanksgiving. She and granddaughter Lizzy hit the craft room between dinner and pie much to my delight. Lily is 8, and Lizzy is 18. So sweet to see them crafting together!
She found my gold pen, and created her own sentiment. Wouldn't that make a fun font?! This one's a keeper for the memory box. Someday soon, she and I are going to have a full weekend of card making here in the old craftroom. Raise your hand if you want to join us...she'll make you smile, and we'd all have a blast!
With that, I'm going to run. I want to get a few things done before DH gets up and my day really begins. If I don't get back here, or to your blogs before then, have a blessed Christmas. May God richly bless you all. Happy dances everyone.

So pretty!! TFS
Happy to hear your dad is recovering wonderfully! Your card is simply sweet! And how pretty is Lily's card?!...Love the leaves and colors she chose! I would totally join in on the fun too...now if only we were closer to one another. ;)
Enjoy your weekend, Bev!
Hugs
Beautiful coffee card!
I love your beautiful coffee themed card.
Lovely cards!!! Lizzy is very good!!!
Seriously all I can say is OhMyJingleStix!!! The cards are so so pretty and the layers, colors are just WOW!!! Thank you for the inspiration.
BEV! Yay for red, white and gray. Such a pretty trio for an even prettier card. Gotta love Verve!
Okay, the Happy Days card = absolutely precious.
How sweet to have been able to see Lizzy and Lily crafting together.
It means a ton to me that you took the time out of your super busy day to play along💚
So good to see you taking some time for yourself, Bev. I love the sentiment on your coffee card and that cup reminds me of some of my Mom and Nana's bone china ones. Lily's card is so sweet. She's following in her Grandma's footsteps for sure. I'd love to come and craft with you all.
LOve the china pattern, Bev!!! You know you had me at gray... and YES my hand is UP!! Keep on keepin' on my friend - I'd love a snowy Winter's day chat soon? love, and hugs...
=]
My hand's up, Bev! Such a pretty Christmas cup with the poinsettia ... and that sweet heart steam ... and the gorgeous sentiment ... what a joy! Lily's card is brilliant ... at age 8 she's lettering like that ... goodness, what's she going to be like at 18 (graphic design maybe?)! Delighted you had even just a smidge of time to create and take a little space for yourself ... and so happy to hear your Dad's recovering so amazingly well! Thinking of you all, dear friend ... miss you! Big hugs, Anita :)
How wonderful to hear your grands love crafting. Beautiful cards.
Your card is lovely!
Thanks for sharing your life. Hope your dad gets in the "swing" of things real soon and that your DH gets back to healthy.
Merry Christmas!
LOVE your coffee card (or is it tea?)!!! What a wonderful cup, with that bright red blossom on it! And the second is a keeper indeed!
Glad to hear all is well with your dad, and hopefully some helpful good reports on DH soon!
Ohhh, Bev, your card is gorgeous!
Love Lily's card too :-)
Beautiful cards! Love and hugs to you!
It's lovely to see you blogging, Bevie, and having a chance to make a card for Amy's fun challenge which I know you love! Your card is sensational!
And thank you for sharing the card made by your two proteges! Having crafted with my grands, I know how special those moments are and what wonderful memories you are making, have made, and will make in the future with these two sweet girls and your other lucky grands, as well!
Continued smooth recovery to your hearty Pops and I am keeping both you and John in my prayers for some answers at your next appointment! Talk soon. Love and hugs, Darnell
Glad to see you here again and with a lovely card.
This is beautiful and sweet card. Love the cup :)
Love the poinsettia on your cup! Very pretty!
Like grandmother, like granddaughter! You are both wonderful artists and I can imagine you having loads of fun creating together! How sweet and heartwarming that the granddaughters created together despite the age difference!
Hope and pray that the doctor's appt next week will go well!
Hugs!
What pretty CAS cards!
Count me in for the crafting session! What time should I be there?
Delightful cards! So nice to see you spending some 'you time' playing with paper :)
You KNOW that the coffee card makes my heart sing! The smoke ink looks like it would be pretty cool in real life. Love the Christmas theme!
Hey...you could likely mass produce these (in your spare time...ha ha ha) and get Starbucks to sell them for you. This beauty would fly off the shelves!
Lily is a natural!!! Gorgeous colors, perfectly balanced design and a hand printed font that totally rocks!! MY GOODNESS, the girl's got talent!
Cold as ever here and crazy busy getting ready for our early Greening Christmas this weekend which means tons of 'company cleaning' (overnight guests), picking Brady up on Saturday (YAY) and meals to prepare! Can hardly wait for the craziness to begin :)
God bless you, Bev! I love your gorgeous Christmas cup full of cheer! Wonderful card, Lily! Your writing is beautiful and I love the colors you chose for those great leaves. Just in case you don't see it, Bev, my hand is raised! Someday, anyway...
What beautiful cards!!!
Oh, your coffee card is beautiful. Love the steam! And what a fabulous card by your granddaughter. So special that you get to share your craft with them.
I love your view on life!! And it's perfectly represented in your cup of cheer!! Of course, Lily and Lizzy might have outdone you with their sweet leaves and sentiment!
