Fast Post

After I cleared the cobwebs from the migraine meds this morning, I decided to craft a bit. Since I can feel something stirring up there again, I'm going to post this fast, get the kitchen cleaned up, do the last two loads of laundry, then if I can still see by then, comment on your blogs. So here we go...

FabFlowersContest_1920

Hero Arts Challenge, as you can see is flowers. Decided to play with some watercolors and let the card design itself.

Love pinks and greens. Zig Real Brush watercolors, ME edge die, SC flower and butterfly stamp, HA sentiment, scraps of pink, and green polka dots.

I'm not really good at Valentines this year for some reason. But I gave it the ol' college try.... This one will go to CASology and CAS on Sunday.

For your blog

EZPZ lemon squeezy. A chunk of vellum with those amazing gold triangles, a small focal panel cut with an AE die, a Concord & 9th gold embossed sentiment, and some pink punched out hearts 1/2 gold embossed. Happy Valentine's Day everyone.

Oh no! Another YKW? I was thinking and hoping that they were getting less...?
Anyway, you still were able to make two gorgeous cards! The beautiful watercolored flowers of the first and the little hearts dipped in gold combined with the vellum of the second make me swoon!
Have a wonderful YKW-free Valentine's Day!

Both of these cards are so pretty. Love the pink flowers with that green card stock and the vellum on the second card makes it so perfect. Sorry your having such a hard time with migraines. I was up at 3 am as I woke up with one but lucky for me the meds kicked in about two hours later and let me sleep and I'm just feeling doppy now. Take care of yourself and know we are all thinking of you with positive thoughts.

Looking at these two beauties, I'd say that you definitely got the upper hand on the YKW!!! I'm swooning over the sweet polkie dots paired with the bright pink! The curved/stitched die creates a beautiful 'base' for your GORGEOUS flowers!

2nd card...'LOVE" it...especially the bi-colored hearts! GREAT idea for a man-tye v-day card!

I'm so sorry to hear that you are still suffering from those nasty migraines Bev. I do pray that you get some relief from them soon! Your flower card is amazing! I love those flowers and the way you colored them with your Zig's. Your border is fun and whimsical and the perfect addition. I also love pink and green together too, so this color combo is right up my ally. lol Love the "love" card as well. Your vellum looks great on it and I love the simple CAS design of the center panel. Feel better soon!!! Hugs, Brenda

Guess who? Good ol' me, once again playing the role of Ms. Tardy Commenter! Yeesh! When will I get my act together? Sweet friend, I'm blown away by your garden of beautifully painted flowers! I didn't realize you've mastered Zigs; they're still getting the best of me! They come out, I try, I grrrr and back in the cupboard they go! Must be missing something in the process! You, however, have the painting knack! The gold-dipped hearts are soooo sweet! Love this CAS-ilicious V-day card!
hugs and love and missing you~c
