Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop, Take Two

Okay. Now, I usually don't mind winter weather in Wisconsin. Really I don't. It's supposed to be cold. It's supposed to snow. If we don't expect that, then we are clearly living in the wrong climate zone... Here's what's bugging me today, however. It's not even 25 degrees, and after a morning snowfall of about 3" (so far, so good), it is now RAINING. What the heck is up with that???? And I have to go out. So not looking forward to that. Just hope the car doors don't freeze shut while I'm parked...Enough weather rant... So how is it by you?!

And onto take two of the Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.

Print

Have you popped by yet? Well worth the visit. Seriously. Sooo many fabby cards. I'm working my way through commenting on them all, and still have a way to go. It's amazing to see the variety of coffee stamps and dies, and the wonderful projects and cards that the participants have made. All this made possible by the incomparable Miss Amy Tsuruta! Wait till you see the lists of sponsors....Woohoo!!!

Decided to make a little something with Springtime colors. Something sweet and happy.

I'd stopped by the Sweet Stamp Shop, with the good intention of only 'window shopping.'. Somehow, and I'm not quite sure how, a couple of sets ended up in my shopping cart and then in my mailbox! Must have blacked out for a while. (hahahahaha!) Well, that's what you're seeing today. The "coffee" stamp is from their Coffee Town set. I stamped it in Versafine, then colored with various markers and added a K and Co. to go cup sticker in the middle. It fit really well. Die cut the panel with an MFT pierced rectangle die, then 'squared' it up. A scrap of the Twinery twine, an old, hoarded charm with a bling added, all on a Pebbles polka dot panel and a Michaels white base. And with that, I'm off. Happy dances everyone.

You're hilarious!). Sweet image and made all the sweeter with your touches of magic! Rain on top of snow - yep, that's the pattern here, too. It can stop it any time now! What an adorable, springy coffee card! I love how you made a box frame out of the sentiment...I could never do that and make it look good! I love the fun colors and the polka dot base. Perfect! As for the weather, ugh!!! Sleeting here as I type this, turning to rain tomorrow and snow again by tomorrow night. I think my kids and I will be in school/work until July at this rate!

Never seen a coffee cup as pretty as yours in anyone's hand! And I'm so with you on the weather. I'm visiting my folks. It's OK dealing with new snowfall daily. But positive temps and rain for one day before the deep freeze comes in again?.. Do not need that. Who needs ice?

Miss Bev...this is just too darn cute. Love your coffee square, so clever and just so beautiful too. And your coffee in the center, looks so good, I can almost smell it. Love your wonderful creation. Miss you lots!

I hear you about the weather Bev. Yes, in the winter we get snow and cold temps. But this winter it has been to the extremes and back again. We had freezing rain last night and everything was glazed over with ice, it was in the 20's. Then this morning it is all rain and 40 degrees. What the heck?! And now tonight, more snow into tomorrow. What the heck again?! lol I don't get how it can be in the 20's and then go to the 40's and above only to drop back down. This winter is driving me crazy. But on a good note, your card is making me feel better with the spring colors. What a fabulous stamp and I so love how you have showcased it on this card. I have blackouts like that too. lol Enjoy those stamps, there is no price on happiness! Hugs, Brenda
