Anyway...I actually do have a couple of cards to share today. The first is for Muse. This is Vicki's Muse card:
It's bright and happy, and most importantly, it has POLKA DOTS! You know I love polka dots...Here's my take. It's a less bright version:
The front panel is a big chunk of dp from Fancypants. I got it when Sharon had her store open and have been hoarding it. I did use a TT small dot stamp with some Ranger Archival Cornflower Blue ink to add those bitty dots. The same ink was used for the CB balloon stamp (NBUS). A scrap of yellowy-green, a scrap of the Fancypants flipped over, and a white scrap for the sentiment panel. That's it for this one.
The next card is going into Fusion. You'll see a couple of diecuts on my card, and they're courtesy of Maria over at reislingmama. First see the Fusion inspiration:
I used both the ombre look and the sketch:
At first, I didn't have the embossing paste on the upper right. (Okay, okay, it's spackle...), but it looked a little unbalanced. So I used an MFT Polka Dot die, cut a scrap, and used it as a stencil for my dots. When they dried, I wiped a bit of Wink of Stella over them. As mentioned, the "you" and the bird are from Maria, and as soon as I saw this Fusion, I knew I'd use them here. The blue ombre ink is a Colorbox mini, and I used ME Smoke ink for the AE sentiment. Recollections white cardstock. And that's it. I'm going to shut up now. Happy dances everyone.

I linked up just after you did at the Muse challenge! Love both your cards today Bev! I LOVE the way you filled that space in the right hand corner... still keeping it 'white space' CAS!
Love the pattern on the birdie too.
Have a great week friend!
Love both of your gorgeous cards Bev. Always love seeing you at Fusion! We're hosting Thanksgiving this year and I'm right there with you on the lists, but the best part is having everyone together. My scrapbooks have moved 100% to the ProjectLife app...so much less stressful so that I can be 100% cards too!
Two fabulous cards in one post, oh my! The polka dots and balloon on the first are so fun! The second one looks so delicate and gorgeous with the die cuts and the embossing paste!
Both cards are beautiful Bev love the polka dots! Your second is my favorite ...I love the way your Spackle turned out.....at first I thought it was pearls placed perfectly.
Yes, Thanksgiving will be here in a few minutes as time goes by to fast. It's a ton of work but so well worth it ! Then I do t cook for the next 4 days.
I am sure the SB will be wonderful!
Love them both...yay for polkas! awesome take on the fusion challenge...your card is beautiful!
Great couple of cards! Can never go wrong with dots :) -- Thanks for joining in at Muse!
Great cards, Bev! Love the softness of your Fusion card and the fun of your Muse card! So glad you joined us at Muse this week!
Both of your cards are fabulous Bev! I love the polka dot one, so fun and festive. Your bird card is just gorgeous, love the soft blue colors in this one with the white. The ombre effect is fun! Hugs, Brenda
Oh, Bev ... just look at all those gorgeous polka dots ... all subtle and yummy ... and dotty and so delicious! Your Fusion card is such a delight ... delicate, soft, and so beautifully light and airy! Love the texture from the spackle ... what a genius idea to add WOS, it gives it such a magical look! Yay for 100% card making!! H&BB, Anita :)
You've worked your magic again with two more awesome cards, Bevie! They are both winners in my book, but I particularly love the feminine ombre card for Fusion! Your WOS'd spackle is genius!! Hugs, Darnell
You have a couple of great cards here, Bev. I can't believe your blue ink matches the DP dots so perfectly. Yay for you making your own stencil for the spackle dots.
As always you are one busy bee! Sounds like so much fun to have a big family coming over for the holidays, just sounds like a big happy party. Just like your first card, so fun and festive with that sweet balloon! and you second card so beautiful and elegant, I love that sweet bird and of course your spackle looks fabulous! Miss you lots!
Love your cards, Bev! Especially that little bird perching on the sentiment! Thanks for joining us at Fusion!
These are lovely :) I like the ombre panel and that little birdie sitting on the sentiment, thank you for sharing with Fusion !
Who'da thunk that Spackle and Stella would make such an attractive couple? Sheer genius dear friend - the result is amazing! Love the softness of your card - especially the wee bird, gently perched upon the sentiment!
The polka dots (including the ones you added) really create a celebratory mood! Love the white space and love the bit of striped paper peeking out behind the baloon!
Your Fusion card is SO pretty with the patterned bird and lovely spackled dots! Thanks so much for joining us in the challenge!
Love that charming little balloon - the big polka dots are the perfect backdrop. And the bird card is simply lovely. I've been practicing more with stencils. As you have demonstrated, they are wonderful at filling in a corner without detracting from a CAS card!
And in the midst of all the busy-ness (my mom and I, in the whilst taking care of Ms. T and Mr. C on Sunday, made dinner for 14. Fortunately, my husband played with the kids for a bit while we assembled three pans of lasagne; they had merry fun with Uncle Andy, who they absolutely adore!), you still find time to exercise Mr. Mojo, crafting up two amazing cards! Polka-dot perfection in the first; and, as Geri noted, a perfect marriage of Stella and Spackle, in the second. In awe of your energy, enthusiasm and all around fabulous 'you-ness'!
Hugs~c
First off, I can smell the bird cooking already (we celebrate every year with friends who have lived in the US). Our dinner will be next Sunday since there is no holiday for Thanksgiving here. We are usually a group of 14 but no more tiny runs running around ;) Love your dotty cards. Glad to see you enjoyed the die cuts. I seriously thought those were pearls in the upper corner!
LOVE the softness of this, lovely!!! Thanks so much for joining us at FUSION! Love it when you do!
Love the simplicity here, so lovely! Thanks for playing at Fusion!
