Waiting

I'm just waiting here for my friend Jen to stop by. Yes, we'll both practice safety by wearing masks and keeping apart, though I'd sure like a big squeezy hug...I guess we all can relate to that at this point. However, since I'm trying to get a post in, I think I should get to it. I made this card a day or two the fellas came to refinish my bedroom floor. Had to wait for the dust to settle before I could uncover my computer and start crafting/blogging again. The floor is gorgeous, and I'll show you the finished product in an upcoming post. I'm trying to sneak in before Less Is More closes for this challenge. It was DT member Sharon's birthday, and we were to CASE her card (gorgeous, btw!):

Here's my interpretation:

The gingham snippet is from the scrap file. The flower stem is from WF, colored with Copics. The sentiment is from SSS cut with a ME die and popped up. The wavy dies are LF. I liked the way this turned out. Maybe I'll make more...! Hope this finds you all safe and well, and as always...

  13. I can imagine the dust of refinishing your floor was a lot! Any type of "construction" or home improvement comes with it's fair share of dust. I can imagine how beautiful the floor looks and look forward to seeing it! Sharon's card is beautiful but I am loving how your CASE came out! The pink gingham just makes this girl smile and I love that little flower, simplicity works and really draws the eye to the card. You little pop up birthday sentiment is so cute, keeping with the simplicity. Love, love, love Sharon's design and your take on it! Hugs, Brenda
