Here's my take:
Sorry about the photo. Brain is just not working well enough today. So I started with a black panel for the base, and added a large scrap of yellow polkie dotted paper from my stash. I have a set of Studio Calico tag dies, and thought that they would fit the bill nicely, as well as use up more of my scraps, though why the scrap drawer never seems to get any emptier I'll never know! The cute little chick is from TT, and I used some Ziggies to color the three of them. The sentiment is from an EH set. I added some yellow and white baker's twine and three bitty yellow nonpareils to cover up the white tags' holes. Should there be an apostrophe after the "s" in tags? See...fuzzy brain...*sigh*. Anyhoo, I'm off as I need to get a few things done. You all stay safe, and as always...
What a darling card Bev! I love your trio of cute birds and using tags is genius! Thanks so much for joining us at The Paper Players this week!

ReplyDeleteWish I could create as well as you do when I have a foggy head! Big hugs though, that sucks! Hope it clear soon. Love your card! (Funnily enough, I've got a post going live tonight which is similar to that sketch).
ReplyDeleteSweet card Bev!! This is so fun with those adorable chicks ... and the polka-dots! xx
ReplyDeleteI have brain fogs too Bev, and they aren't good. I'm so sorry you had a migraine, I do hope the meds worked even if they gave you a fuzzy brain. Better fuzzy a little than in pain! Your card is adorable and I love your take on the sketch. Those little birds are so cute and they are perfect on those tags. I rarely use tags on cards and need to do it more. Loving the big bright polka dot paper! I wish I knew why the scrap bins never go down, I know I use out of mine too and so does a friend of mine, but mine never seems to go down. Drives me nuts. lol Feel better soon my friend! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteSo pleased you're feeling better, Bev ... keep chasing those YKWs away! Lovely to chat, mon amie ... big hugs and bisous, Anita :)
