Quick Post for The Hop to Stop, and The Challenge

Crazy 'round here. Don't have time for migraines, but somehow, they just laugh and show up when I really have no time for them. Like right now. Jerks. Anyway, I've got my running shoes on again this morning, and need to get these two cards posted before the day gets away from me. And I promise to try and catch up on visiting at and commenting on your blogs too. Soon.

By now everyone in our card making world should know about this, and because you do, please pass the information about The Hop to Stop along to your blogging buds, and support this cause. For those of our comrades who are in the midst of DV, please know that we care. One in three women in the US will be or has been a victim of DV. I have two sisters....one of us could have been in that number. Makes me really think. Stop and visit the incredible Becca Cruger's blog, and ink up and link up. See more by clicking on the photo above. You'll notice that there are prizes....thanks to all those sponsors who've supported this cause! For all the information you need about the hop, pop over, and if you need a little more information about DV, you'll find that there too.

My card:

A purple panel with a WPlus9 circle cut out, which was then backed by a watercolored panel in yellows and greens. A LF 'hello' die in a muted silver scrap. Some doubled up sequins, and a little kitty cut with my Silhouette. The purple is old, and this is actually the 'back' side. It's sort of like a mulberry paper, only different. I'm also going to link this up to Lawnscaping Challenge, where we're to make the sentiment our focal point.

Next I want to pop a card into Lesley's The Challenge.

Made a Christmas card.... I know, right?!

Pretty vellum paper I received for my birthday!! It's from SU, and I couldn't wait to delve into it. A WPlus9 circle with Silhouette snowflake and one little sequin. An EH sentiment and MFT flag dies. scraps of black. Gotta run, already I've been too long winded. Happy dances everyone.

  2. Simply an elegant creation Bev to raise awareness through our creations all over the world! Love that watercolored circle panel alone with purple. And i love your black and white creation too! The vellum is very pretty, is it already printed or you stamped over it, little confused. Love that snowflake!

  3. Spooktacular! How do you have such an awesome way with Halloween cards? Last night, I finally set some Halloween stuff on my crafting desk. And then it stared at me and I got scared (or just lacked mojo, one of the two).

Bev - you are bright spot in this blogosphere. You're amazing. You're awesome. You're incredible. (I thought if I made your head a little bigger your migraine might go away). :)
