...for not being terribly productive yesterday, that is. I'll keep this short, and get right down to business. I must tell you, however, that I had stared at the sketch over at
CAS(E) this Sketch alllllllllllll week. Tried a couple of things, even made a card for one of the bazillions of granddaughters, but came up empty every darn time. Except for this one....Here's the very cool sketch by Karolyn:
This is my late entry into this challenge:
Looks way nicer irl....Bazzill white card base. Scraps of kraft and the bit of white, MME enamel dots, PTI stamp, SU ink on the bird, some old Fiskars rickrack stickers, and Sn@p Studio by Simple Stories faux washi tape, striped paper, and "hello" sticker. That's it. Later dudettes! Happy dances.
Very trendy, very graphic, very warm and fun! You pinged up a delightful card here, Bevie!!
ReplyDeleteDarnell said it all: delightful card, well *pinged* in every way! The long-legged lovely blue bird is the highlight! Cute, +++ Sounds like we're travelling a similar path of 'recycling' our efforts. At least you're able to have some 'stars' emerge whilst I feel like I'm heading back to pre-beginner stage! Yeesh! Perhaps new products will help (some on the way from SSS!!). Hope you're having a great evening, and finding time to play with your new treats....

ReplyDeletePinged perfection, Bev ... wonderful colours, love how you positioned the ricrac and that long legged bird is such a sweetie! Great to have been virtual neighbours at CTS! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteUber funky design and a great combo of colours too. I'm so glad that you and this sketch finally found some peace.
ReplyDeleteYour long-legged bird and the tiny sentiment crack me up. What a great pairing!
