A day off

Somewhat unexpectedly, I have today off. I can put away some/most of the Christmas decorations, do the grocery shopping, laundry...well, you get the idea. Yesterday was a day of Church (love going to church!), and a bit of time in the craft room. I managed to get a card made for two challenges: Less Is More #101, and CAS-ual Fridays. I still have a few more thank you notes to write, so this card will come in handy.

We'd love you to display our banner                        cfc84

Here 'tis:

Lots and lots of white space (sigh), which I love. This was a pretty easy/fast one to make. The most time consuming part was scoring the white cardstock. Being dyslexic, it's very difficult for me to do certain things, and measuring has never been my forte. My dear friend Jen gave me SU white cardstock, and new SU black ink, used here. This is an older SU stamp which I masked off. Black and turquoise Bazzill cardstock, random black sheerish ribbon, and a ribbon slide and brads from Scrapworks. I find the more I look at it, the more I like it. Hope you do too. Happy Dances everyone.

Oh and btw, the incredible DT chose my daisy card as one of their Top 3 over at Unscripted Sketches! I was totally surprised! Humbled and honored to have been chosen, and absolutely thrilled. Thanks!

  4. A lovely card - the scoring looks perfect. I use a Hougie Board for scoring - make it so much easier as I don't have to measure anything!
