Today, however, I made a card for CASology and the 10 Minute Craft Dash. This little card really did take under 10 minutes to make. The key is to be very organized. have everything ready to go, then craft like crazy! While the Cricut machine was cutting my circles, I made my "star" and measured the center where my first circle would go. Then it was just a matter of gluing those circles on, and adding a "trunk". Just made it, time was 9:47 seconds!!! Whew!!!
All Bazzill cardstock, and random bling. I purposely left the sentiment off the front. There is a verse inside. It was difficult to capture the red in the photo, but it is a bright, lovely red. Happy Dances
Fabulous card very effective. Caroline xxx
ReplyDeleteThanks Caroline. So very quick to make too! Glad you stopped by Happy Dance! Bev
DeleteYou, my dear, know how to multi-task! This card is so much fun and really unique! Great use of red, too!
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining in the 10 minute Craft Dash. Feel free to enter once more for the "Red" feature! :)
Thanks, Paulina. Your 10 Minute Craft Dash really challenges me to think simply, which I like very much! Gotta love that red! Will try to play again before I head north later next week. Bev
DeleteOh, oh, oh! LOVE the geometric design. I have actually tried something like this but never achieved this stunning result. Definitely will be CASing this! Thanks so much for playing along with us at CASology this week!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Ardyth. *blush* The longer I make cards, the more I find my style to be CAS. I have a much more difficult time making froo-froo cards. Your personal style really inspires me, and often leaves me speechless. And I still love playing at CASology! Bev
DeleteWow, talk about speedy and splendid ... an amazing creation, and even more so in under 10 minutes! Anita in France :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Anita. It was pretty easy once I had all the steps down in my head. Didn't even do a dry run! Bev
DeleteWow! 9 minutes, 47 seconds...you must have been a blur in your craftroom!
ReplyDeleteFabulously clean and simple and gloriously geometric! Great idea to leave the sentiment off the front - didn't want to steal the thunder from this magificant tree!
I'm with Ardyth...going to be CASing this as well.
"froo-froo"...giggle!
CASE all you want Geri! I consider your CASEd designs of my cards as Upgrades!! And really, it's all about being organized in your head as well as the supplies! Probably should have said "frilly" instead of "froo-froo", my bad. ;) Bev
DeleteLovely sparkle on your tree. Thank you so much for sharing with us this week at CASology!
ReplyDeleteAnother great cue card from CASology, Tracey! Can't wait to see what's next! Bev

ReplyDeleteThanks, Karen. It was really fun to make. Had it organized in my head, then went right to making. You should try the 10MCD, it's not too hard once you have everything together. : ) Bev
