Oh Yay!

Yippee Ki Yi Yay. It's been a long week with migraines. I try really hard not to let them get in my way of everyday things, or important things like crafting, but sometimes the basta**s really slam hard. *Sigh* ... It's been one of those weeks. I snuck into my craft room in between headaches, and made the ping that was ponging all around my brain; yes, even with a migraine, my brain still crafts. Glad it went together so fast. Cuz round fifty-'leven is coming on fast and strong. So I am getting right to it...

Playing here.

Michaels white cardstock. Silhouette cut file for the chili pepper, and I use ME red ink and PTI green and sponged it on. Added a smidgen of black for some shading. Market Street chicken wire stamp with more PTI green ink. a few scattered enamel dots just for fun. Oh, and the die is from LF. And I'm off to take MORE meds...I'll be fine...eventually. Happy dances everyone.

  13. WOW! The pepper looks so 'real & touchable'! Amazing job shading with the green & black! So nice to see that the "bastages" (my sister's version of that OTHER word) didn't crimp your craft!

Yep - winner, winner; spicy chicken dinner!

  20. That chili pepper is glistening hot, Bevie! This is so a winner in my book! You amaze me, period, but the way you can pull off something this creative with your brain squeezing itself through a pin hole and back out the other side, is BEYOND me awe-mazing!! I hope you are over this cluster by now! Gentle hugs, Darnell

  21. Well, you do have a winner here, Bev. I didn't get a chance to comment before but saw this in the HM gallery at CASology. If a chili pepper doesn't say hot, I don't know what does. Sorry you were under the influence but it didn't stop the creativity.

  22. Oh Bev, I'm so sorry you have had to deal with migraine headaches. They certainly are not fun, I've suffered with them for years too. I don't get them anymore thank God, it seems mine were related to my reproductive organs and now that they are gone so are my migraines. But glad to see that your mind was still able to craft! I love, love your card, it put a huge smile on my face just because! Hugs, Brenda

  28. So sorry to hear the bast***s made a reappearance, but you sure didn't let them get the best of you! The first time I saw your card, I did think your chili pepper was real (I know...who'd put a real pepper on a card? I'm a ninny), but that's how realistic it looks! *Hot* *Hot* *Hot*! Love it, my friend!
    Hugs~c
