Dropping in quickly

Have hours of work yet to accomplish, but this card has been sitting on my desk, and Freshly Made Sketches closes all too soon! And while I was perusing blogland, I saw that Deepti, (LOVE her work) mentioned a "gold" theme going on at Addicted to CAS. It's also blue, hence Simon Says Work it Wednesday. And speaking of Simon...at the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge, it's anything goes. Things lined up nicely as far as challenges go, didn't they? What's the most challenges you've entered with one card? I think this ties my record...

Will get right to this, as I need to check the chicken on the grill...

Stars aligned and here's my card:

So as per usual, a Neenah White base. Scraps of gold cut into narrow strips and adhered to a white scrap. Three Michaels gold sequins, some gold thread wrapped around my (scrap of) navy blue panel. A Hero Arts stamp used with Jeni Bowlin ink. That's it. Enjoy your week. Happy dances everyone.

  1. Bev...this is one stunning card! I love the blue and gold combination and those sequins are so perfect too. Your sweet sentiment at the edge of your card is perfect. Don't you just love it when challenges work for your card, this is just gorgeous.

  18. I didn't realize how many of your posts I missed whilst I was cavorting with my children and grandchildren from 7/26 - 8/3. This gold one is a stunner and the three on the 30th are very diverse and each lovely in their own right.

  19. Now that this round of bike races is done, I can get down to my "priorities': catching up on my favourite Bev's awesome creations over the past while! What a fabulous starting point with this stylish slender striped gold stunner, fashionable accessorized with fine gold thread, shiny sequins and a perfectly placed sentiment! The nave sets the gold off beautifully! Another card to adore, my dear friend!
