Sometimes...

Sometimes you've got it going on like gangbusters, and other times...not so much. Get the cuts straight, make perfect gold dots, just have to get the stamp done without smearing...Way too many in the recycle bin today. Guess I should have quit and restarted the whole darn thing tomorrow. This one did work. Mostly.

Playing along over at CASology and also at Moxie Fab World: The Birthday Card Challenge

My card looks like this:

Rather simple actually. White Bazzill card base, and scraps of aqua and gold paper. PTI stamp with Stampabilities gold ink. I made my own bling by punching out gold circles and adding drops of Glossy Accents. The hardest part about that was waiting for the little buggers to dry. And my niece-in-law is in labor! I'm getting a new great-niece today! Woohoo! Happy dances everyone.

  1. Love this and wait until you see my card for tomorrow. There's a lot of 'great minds' going on with me for some reason. Every time I make a card, I seem to immediately see someone else make something similar! Love the aqua and gold together - reminds me of my Nana who used to wear Estee Lauder Youth Dew! Can't wait to 'meet' your new great niece! And finally, thanks for playing with us at CASology this week!

  2. Bev, this is so great! ( A true Happy Dance! )

It just so happens that in honor of the CASology 1 year I will be doing a little restrospective showing all of the cards I have entered into CASology and when I started to play along and why.

I will tell you, you should tune in to see it, you will be pleasantly surprised!

Thanks for playing with CASology, time and time again Bev!

  3. Bev...just fabulous! I love the clean look of your card..and your hand made babbles, so beautiful. I do know what you mean about waiting for the stuff to dry, it seems like it takes a life time doesn't it? Well, it was worth the wait, your card is stunning!
